Today we’d like to introduce you to Renee Dries.
Hi Renee, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started as a single mother, working at a nursing home kitchen just trying my best to provide for my kids. Then I became a CNA at that same nursing home and I knew quickly that I wanted to be a nurse. I went back to school to become a LPN. I worked in MedSurg and the ER as I continued my bachelor’s degree in nursing. I became a registered nurse then left the ER to work full-time in the OR for plastic surgery. I started injecting at the plastic surgery office then worked at multiple med spas in Atlanta after that. As I was working at the spas, I noticed some issues in the aesthetic industry and I decided I want to fix that. So I went out on my own and created my business, R Face Med Spa.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Absolutely not. The process has required a lot of hard work. I had to put one foot in front of the other and keep pushing. Every bump in the road turned into a lesson and the entire process taught me patience. I had to do a lot of research and a lot of free clients in order to perfect my craft.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I love everything aesthetics! From the art of injecting to watching the happiness in my clients’ faces; it is so fulfilling. I love to make my clients feel happy and I truly care for them individually. I’m best known for my PRP treatments which is a natural approach to anti-aging and healthy skin. What sets me apart from other injectors is that I put my clients’ best interests first and not the sale. I genuinely care for their well-being and a lot of times will pray with them. It’s a tough world out here and I want people to feel comfortable and safe when they’re in my chair.
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
I am a single mother of four. They’re my motivation to keep going and to keep bettering myself and my career. Everything I’ve worked hard to accomplish is all because of them and my passion for aesthetics.
