Meet Bobby Llantin of Bonnie & Clyde’s Salon in Alpharetta

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bobby Llantin.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I started doing hair seven years ago after working in the automotive industry right out of high school. I was 25 and really wanted to try something new that gave me the opportunity to use my hands and at the same time be creative. After my sister, who is also a hairstylist told me that it would be a career suited to my personality and Skills; I decided to enroll at Paul Mitchell the school Esani. From there on, I’ve had the pleasure of working and training with some of the best companies and stylist in the Industry. I Opened Bonnie & Clyde’s Salon in November of 2017. After feeling that it was the next step in my career; I wanted to open a salon that had a relaxed atmosphere and a place that truly exhibited a love for the craft of hairdressing. It’s been a blessing and wild ride so far! I hope to meet more amazing people and grow the Bonnie & Clyde’s brand. I’d like to thank Dianne Lopez, staff editor for being so kind to feature Bonnie & Clyde’s Salon!

Has it been a smooth road?
It’s definitely had its ups and downs. The first few weeks I opened, I had all of my color and supplies in containers due to a lack of proper display shelving. On top of that, I had to regularly make trips to the supply store for things I didn’t have. This wore me out. The biggest struggle though was the process of getting people in the chair. I quickly learned that people really appreciate me being honest and upfront about what can and can’t be done with their hair. As a result, word of mouth spread and growth came. I saw my dream as a salon owner flourish!

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Bonnie & Clyde’s Salon – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
Bonnie & Clyde’s is most known for our personalized haircuts and creative color. I’m really proud of Bonnie & Clyde’s because I feel like I’ve created a place for creativity and style to shine; while providing a one on one experience for clients. It’s a much different experience compared to the industry standard which one day, I hope to influence.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I love the city of Atlanta because something is always going on and the culture is known worldwide! As far as things I dislike about Atlanta, I have yet to find one!
