Hi Lauren, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I became a professional matchmaker and certified dating & relationship coach after many years of being the “go-to” person for my friends when they were searching for a potential mate. I have always been in love with the concept of helping others find love and have intertwined it within multiple areas of my life. I have authored self-help books on love and relationships and have also written for several publications, including an online entertainment news website where I covered The Bachelor franchise in depth. In addition, I am also a regular contributor for Wikihow’s love and relationship column and have also written for datingadvice.com. More recently, I have started my own online magazine, Dating for the Soul, which is dedicated to providing singles with the best relationship advice, dating tips, and love inspiration from professional matchmakers and dating coaches.
I initially started my career as a professional matchmaker at one of the nation’s largest matchmaking agencies, where I received official training and learned the business of matchmaking. I was blessed with the opportunity to meet and interview thousands of singles across the nation from various backgrounds, ethnicities, and socioeconomic statuses. I eventually branched off into the matchmaking world independently and opened my own boutique matchmaking agency, The Love Crush Agency with an intention for equality for all.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The journey of owning my own professional matchmaking agency has thankfully been fairly smooth. I was able to learn a lot about the industry prior to starting my own company, which has blessed me tremendously. When you are doing what you love, it doesn’t feel like a burden, and you find joy in waking up every day knowing you are making a difference in people’s lives.

The Love Crush Agency is a boutique matchmaking agency specializing in equality for all. My vision for my matchmaking company is to be able to provide equal opportunities for all individuals to find love. Everyone deserves a fair chance to find love, no matter who they are. I’ve witnessed the scarcity of diversity and representation across the matchmaking industry. My goal is to bridge the gap so that no one is left behind.
We aim to remove the stress from dating by doing all the heavy lifting for our clients. We thoroughly vet and screen all candidates and ensure our clients have the highest chance of success with their dates. We additionally provide date coaching services for our clients who prefer an in-depth matchmaking experience beyond going on dates. We are a full-service nationwide matchmaking agency.
Any big plans?
My plans for the future include becoming one of the nation’s most trusted and authentic matchmaking agencies. I value people and their experiences. I consider it an honor to be able to help people potentially find the one person they may spend the rest of their lives with. Additionally, I also have plans to extend my brand internationally beyond the United States in future years.
