Ibrahim Williams Jr

Hi Ibrahim, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Hello, my name is Ibrahim Bob Williams Jr. I am a 26-year-old entrepreneur, father, and professional supermodel with The Salt Agency. I was born in Sierra Leone and raised in a traditional Sierra Leonean, West Africa household. We relocated to Gambia during the Sierra Leone War which was featured in the Movie Blood Diamond! Later we moved to Croydon, London, and finally my mother, siblings and moved to the United States when I was eight to Clayton County, Georgia which is the South Side of Atlanta, and became a citizen of the United States after seven years. During that time, I attended school at Rivers Edge Elementary, Lovejoy Middle & High School, where by I got introduced to football & basketball and continued my childhood sport soccer for my school varsity soccer team throughout high school and also modeling, which was introduced to me as a hobby by my high school teacher in which she started a fashion club and that’s where my love for fashion began.

I started my sense of style, fashion, and modeling during high school going into University while pursuing the military in the Army Reserve. I became interested in my university fashion club XMT Xtreem Modeling Team at Kennesaw State University and got published as a male model in Elegant Magazine’s fall edition, Fifty Shade Of Beauty and taken by a talented Atlanta Photographer Miles Berry, while still remaining athletic and physical fit between drill, stationing and school. I then started working as an intern at a fortune 500 marking firm whereby I was laid off from due to Covid. I also had my lovely daughter at 23 who has my height and looks and potentially be an aspiring model aswell and much more.

I decided to start my own business in 2020, Miracle Financial Enterprise and as well as a nonprofit with a degree in Social Services with a finance background and certifications as a financial consultant in tax preparation, bookkeeping, business startup, and credit repair with a team of real estate agent and financial mangers. Finally after three years of personal and career foundational I was motivated and inspired by clients, family, and friends to model again. Started to peek interest in modeling again. I got the opportunity to walk in runway shows, including Atlanta Fashion Week, Young Atlanta, Miguel Collection Polo Classic, Black Wedding Experience, New York Fashion Week, Flying Solo, G-Gallery, New York Swim Week, Indie Fashion New York & LAFW. I have worked with many amazing independent worldwide high fashion designers and stylists like Miguel Wilson from the Miguel Wilson Collection located in Philips Plaza, Treaded by Tre, Hollyandroo, Mr. Officials, and other brands while also published in two worldwide magazines Elegant and published again for Artells Magazine Halloween Theme 2023 fall edition and recently signed to Atlanta Mother Agency; The Salt Agency.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
A famous financial advisor and philanthropist Bob Proctor once said; “ It is better to step forward into growth rather than step backward into safety”. This message really played a hidden role in my early life journey as a young adult because life is about finding yourself as a human and learning along the way while taking the first step to pursue your passion and dream without taking the first step and taking safe route how would you know your true destiny, calling or God given gift? My favorite book, “Think & Grow Rich” taught me to embrace failure and the power of not giving up, building meaningful relationships, and being the best genuine you even if people don’t acknowledge you’re ambition and vision. Part of the book also quoted, “Success comes to those who become success conscious; failure comes to those who indifferently allow themselves to be failures conscious. It also stated to vision yourself into fortune by having the capacity to know what you want, have the determination to stand by your desire, have realization by accomplishing that desire vision, by being initiative, faithful, the will to win, and never give up despite how tough things get never give up on your gift, talent and God giving abilities!

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a full-time entrepreneur and professional supermodel.

My lifestyle is a balance of both being a business owner as a financial consultant dealing with individuals and business financial planning, and tax preparation with a group of partners helping with meeting financial goals, planning and inquiring for meaningful financial assets by meeting requirements, terms, and conditions required to obtain such financial goals to being on the runway and print shoots for bands, stylists, and magazines! My life consists of a scheduled routine is weekly meetings, consultations, marketing, traveling as well as giving back to the community!

I am most proud of my faith with God, independence, and life skills I’ve equipped myself with the knowledge I’ve learned along the way. My life’s journey is what set me apart from others and I believe everyone has their own story to tell!

We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
My favorite childhood memory is spending time with my grandparents back home in Sierra Leone and always wanting to go over to see my cousins and especially spending time with my late Grandfather and my father’s love for watching soccer and their favorite team Liverpool in Barcelona on Television!
