Today we’d like to introduce you to Jezell Griffin.
Hi Jezell, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I am originally from Clarksville, TN and spent the majority of my life in TN. I graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Communications. After working in banking and customer service after graduating, I decided to make a change and start over in a new city.
I moved to Atlanta in October 2019 to work in the hospitality industry at the Hilton Hotel. Unfortunately, by March 2020 I was furloughed from my job due to the pandemic. During this time, I began taking online real estate classes to obtain my license. I finished my course by December 2020 and obtained my license by March 2021.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Absolutely not! Real Estate is one of the most stressful yet fulfilling careers I’ve done. Some struggles I’ve experienced were being the new agent on the block and having to prove myself constantly that I know what I’m doing as the new person. Also learning that in this career, I’m an entrepreneur so there are different steps I have to take instead of being an employee.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
My business is a licensed realtor in Atlanta, GA. I represent both buyers and sellers in their real estate transactions.
What sets me apart from others is being fully transparent and educating throughout the transaction. Unfortunately, real estate is not something that is taught to the masses so it is my responsibility to teach buyers and sellers the benefits of real estate. How it can help you build wealth, how it can provide a sense of ownership and community, how it can increase your net worth, etc.
I want people to know that I am a part of an excellent team, Regal Realty Group, and our goal is to provide the Royal Real Estate experience for all of our clients from the initial conversation to after closing to build a long-lasting relationship with our clients.
So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
A good customer experience matters most to me. I believe that when you’re putting your best foot forward for the client, it sets you apart. So that means going above and beyond for my clients to know that I want to make their dream of ownership happen for them. By any means necessary.
