Hi Laila, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
It has been two decades since I started working in the real estate business. Over the years, I immersed myself in the real estate market and learned from experienced developers and contractors. More recently, I have become fascinated with the evolving artistic trends of modern homes and the ways in which I can incorporate them within my work. With each new project today, I continue to learn something new that strengthens my approach and skillset to designing modern homes.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Although the journey has been difficult, I have had the valuable support of my brother and sister. They have pushed me to not only adapt to the evolving demands of the Atlanta housing market but to also take on challenging projects that get me out of my comfort zone. I owe my continued growth and success to them.

There is a growing, unfulfilled need in the Atlanta housing market for modern custom new-builds. I have aimed to fulfill this gap in a way that is personalized, incorporates the most contemporary designs, and fosters meaningful relationships with my clientele. With each new project, I strive to understand and actualize my client’s vision of their dream home.

Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
With each new project, you will encounter unprecedented challenges, but what you learn from these obstacles will be instrumental in driving your career. Regardless of how experienced you will become, there will always be an opportunity for you to grow from failure.
