Shaping the Future of Sports Through CKFB Academy. Born and raised in Macon, Georgia, Clint Kent is a name synonymous with dedication, excellence, and transformative coaching. As the visionary founder of CKFB Academy, Clinton’s journey from a heralded professional football career to a mentor for athletes nationwide is a story of passion, resilience, and the pursuit of greatness.

Clint’s athletic prowess was evident from his high school days at Westside High School, where he not only excelled on the field but also set the interception record—a feat he replicated at James Madison University. His remarkable college career, highlighted by his status as an All-American defensive back, paved the way for seven illustrious years in professional football.

Transitioning from player to coach, Clint embarked on a mission to cultivate talent and inspire athletes across the United States. Post-retirement in 2015, after a stint in Canada, he returned to his roots in the middle Georgia area, driven by a commitment to provide resources and training to a region in need. Despite a brief hiatus to embrace a college football coaching opportunity in 2017, the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 saw Clinton’s triumphant return to Georgia and the resurgence of CKFB Academy.

Clint’s approach to training transcends the physical aspects of sport. He believes in nurturing the youth, emphasizing the importance of mastering fundamentals without the need to unlearn old habits. While football remains his primary focus, CKFB Academy caters to athletes across all sports, boasting clients that range from budding youth talents to high-profile NFL and collegiate stars.

Clint’s training philosophy extends beyond Georgia, reaching athletes in Texas, Virginia, Florida, Washington D.C., and beyond. His core belief is simple yet profound: “Master the small details and work hard, and you will achieve success in whatever you aspire to.” This motto encapsulates the essence of CKFB Academy—where the journey of every athlete is a testament to the power of dedication, hard work, and attention to detail.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The most challenging thing was building my clientele from the ground up. It was easier because of my background and credentials.

What’s next?
My plans for the future are to get more involved with the NFL Combine training and possibly open a training facility.
