Hi Michelle, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start, maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers.
I am half Cuban and half Columbian, and I was born and raised in California. I moved to Georgia when I was 15 years old and am proud to call Alpharetta my home! My husband and I started our business in 2004. We started out as Chiropractic, moved into healthcare, and now run regenerative medicine as well as Aesthetics. We specialize in Joint injections, including the knees, Chiropractic, Bio-identical hormones, Pellets and peptides, Weight, and all aesthetics, including Botox, Dermal Fillers, PRP, PRGH, Exosomes & stem cells, thread lifts, and medical-grade facials. The era of regenerative medicine is upon us. As we advance with protein and cell-based therapies, we can do things that we never thought possible. We are starting to see trends in more natural alternatives to medications. We have some exciting things on the horizon that is sure to keep clients looking and feeling young forever!!!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely has not been a smooth road, but it has been worth it! Being in an industry that is constantly changing and evolving has sometimes been challenging as a business owner, not to mention working 80 hours a week with your spouse while trying to raise two teenage daughters. It definitely shows you what you are made of! I think that a lot of people think that the Med spa side of the business is glamorous and exciting; I can assure you that there is a lot that goes on behind the scenes that makes this a very volatile industry. One of the biggest challenges I’ve personally had to deal with is employees. Finding the perfect “Dream Team” has taken lots of time, due diligence, and patience to find the right people who match our business culture. We have been through it all, including theft, restraining orders, etc… We are happy to say that we feel very blessed that we have finally been able to find a great team that we absolutely adore!!!

Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
Regenerative medicine is the future! There are so many changes and new things coming out on a daily basis! The newest and most exciting right now is PRGF (Plasma Rich Growth Factors). They have found a way to take a patient’s blood, put it through a centrafuse, spin it, take out the healthy Plasma known as PRP; they then put it on a hot plate to change the consistency from liquid to a gel-like substance (like dermal fillers) they then cool it and place it back into the patient for volume, growth Factors, collagen, and elastin production. With one session, you get 6 syringes, and the cost is 75% less than the alternative, and it’s all natural!
