Meet JaVanta Haskins of I AM H3R SOLUTION 4 U

Today, we’d like to introduce you to JaVanta Haskins.

Hi JaVanta, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
As a small town country girl from Hopkinsville, Kentucky, I never would’ve imagined that 2020 would be a significant year for me, my daughter Ma’Leah & son Jamar. Not only did we celebrate our “FIVE-YEAR ANNIVERSARY” living in Atlanta, but we also celebrated me making the dean’s list finishing my Bachelors in Health Sciences & also obtaining my LLCs to become a “BLACK BUSINESS OWNER”! Juggling trying to pay my way through school, working as a chiropractic assistant & being a single mother full time was tough as well as had its challenges, but making sure I was able to provide for my kids was my top priority.

While working as a chiropractic assistant, my patients, doctors, bosses & coworkers became very fond of not only my personality & work ethic but also of my appearance & the way I carried myself when I rocked my shades, lashes, hair, scrubs, shoes, etc. because I was always literally color coordinated, wore vibrant colors & had a thang for fashion. Several times a week, someone would stop & ask me about something I had on or where’d I shopped. Since I’m the type of lady who believes in the motto “WE ALL SHOULD BE ABLE TO LOOK FLY,” I would share the information with anyone who asked!

My sister coworker, Renee, is what I call her motivated me to start my own business after I finished school due to amount of people who complimented me weekly & the amount of people I shared fashion information with. She even went so far as to sowing a seed into my business to get me initially started, which led to my bosses writing me a check to buy my first bulk of products to start my business.

I was so ecstatic about my new endeavor & business start-up that I started sharing the good news with my patients, close friends, family & the people I encountered, only to be informed that in order for me to have a legitimate business & to sell my products, I’d have to be licensed, certified & registered through the stage of Georgia first, yikes! Although I didn’t know which route to take, the amazing people I encountered along the way, as well as networking, allowed me to take the first steps to obtaining my LLCs & getting my business registered.

I established my business September 1, 2020, this year makes four years in business & I can truly say, it has advanced in ways I can ever imagine. I AM H3R SOLUTION 4 U LLC has been a part of celebrity events & anniversaries from Atlanta & my hometown in Kentucky, including, Atlanta’s Sweet Auburn Festival, Women’s Expo & also Pop-Ups with Yandy Smith Harris, whose purchased from me “TWICE”! Let’s not forget to mention, I AM H3R SOLUTION 4 U LLC has been featured in “SIX MAGAZINES” from Atlanta to Kentucky & a TV show called “TEACH” on Tubi! I truly believe that in life, God places certain people in your path to help guide, motivate, support & push you to your potential & literally, that’s how I, as a single mother, began my journey as a black business owner.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It totally hasn’t been a smooth road while being a business owner, but this is one ride that I can say that it’s “WORTH TAKING”! The beauty I get overall while being a black business owner is the smiles, reviews, invitations & testimonials from customers. Knowing that I’m able to make someone’s day with the products & services I provide makes me overjoyed.

I can truly say that some of my biggest blessings as a business owner & CEO is being able to be my own boss, being creative, networking, making my own rules, being affordable to all & most importantly working at my own time of leisure & convenience!

Some of the downfalls I experienced, which I’ve shared in previous magazine interviews are, having the right help when it comes to business events, theft & shady business deals gone wrong. An important downfall for all business owners to remember when starting a business is, knowing you won’t finish with the people you started off with & that’s okay because it’s also apart of business growth! Overall, my good has surpassed my bad as the CEO & FOUNDER OF “I AM H3R SOLUTION 4 U LLC,” & I’m forever GRATEFUL!
