Sure! I’d be happy to walk you through my story.

I have always been an optimistic and goal-driven person. Throughout my life, I have faced various challenges, but I have always remained positive, even when the odds were against me. One significant challenge I faced was my cancer journey. Despite the difficult times, I held onto the belief that God works everything out for our good. This mindset helped me stay strong and hopeful throughout my treatment.

In terms of my professional journey, I graduated from college with a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management. I then had the opportunity to work for a big 4 firm, where I gained valuable experience in the business acumen space. However, during this time, I had the misinterpretation that I couldn’t work and have my own business. This misconception inspired me to use the knowledge and skills I gained to enhance my entrepreneurship and prove that it is possible to balance both.

Unfortunately, I experienced a setback when I was laid off from my job. This experience highlighted the importance of having my own business that no one can take away from me. It fueled my desire for professional growth that would not only make me a better entrepreneur but also provide me with the stability and independence I sought.

Alongside my professional journey, I also embarked on a content journey. I wanted to share my lifestyle and experiences, particularly my journey of remaining positive through adversity and trusting in God. It became my mission to inspire others to keep pushing forward and to be transparent about my own journey. I believe that sharing our stories and being open about our struggles can have a profound impact on others.

As part of my entrepreneurial endeavors, I am currently in the process of launching my denim jean business. This venture is driven by my personal experience of being taller and struggling to find jeans that fit perfectly. Through my business, I aim to provide high-quality denim jeans that cater to individuals who face similar challenges. My mission is to empower people to embrace their uniqueness and feel confident in their own skin.

Overall, my story is one of resilience, determination, and faith. I have learned the importance of remaining positive in the face of adversity, the value of professional growth, and the impact of sharing our stories. I am excited for the future and the opportunities that lie ahead as I continue to pursue my passions and make a difference in the lives of others.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It hasn’t been a smooth road for me. I’ve faced several challenges and encountered moments of doubt and adversity. One of the significant struggles I’ve faced with battling cancer, were both physical and emotional obstacles. But I’ve managed to overcome these challenges and maintain a positive outlook thanks to my unwavering faith and optimistic mindset.

Despite these challenges, I’ve persevered and remained determined to succeed. I used my personal experiences, like struggling to find jeans that fit perfectly due to my height, as inspiration for my denim jean business. This venture faced its own set of obstacles, including the initial stages of launching the business and establishing a customer base. But I embraced these challenges as opportunities for growth and remained committed to my mission of empowering individuals to embrace their uniqueness.

Overall, my journey has been marked by resilience and the ability to overcome obstacles. While there have been struggles along the way, I’ve faced them head-on, learning valuable lessons and continuing to pursue my passions with unwavering determination.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a supply chain professional who started my career in consulting at just 21 years old. I am proud of this accomplishment because it allowed me to graduate college and land a great-paying job at such a young age, setting up the life I wanted for myself.

What sets me apart from others is not just my experience and expertise in supply chain management, but also my positive attitude and strong work ethic. I believe that maintaining a positive mindset is crucial in facing challenges and finding innovative solutions. I approach my work with enthusiasm and a can-do attitude, which not only helps me overcome obstacles but also inspires and motivates those around me.

Additionally, my strong work ethic is something I take pride in. I am dedicated to delivering high-quality results and meeting deadlines. I am known for my reliability and commitment to excellence in everything I do. I believe that hard work and persistence are key to achieving success and making a meaningful impact in the field of supply chain management.

Overall, I am most proud of my ability to start my career at a young age and build a strong foundation for my professional journey. My positive attitude and work ethic set me apart and enable me to tackle challenges head-on, while also inspiring others to strive for success.

The city has a strong entrepreneurial spirit and is home to numerous startups, tech companies, and Fortune 500 companies. The business-friendly environment, access to resources, and supportive networks make Atlanta an attractive place for business growth and development.

Atlanta is also a city that takes pride in its rich African American history and heritage. It has been a center for the Civil Rights Movement and is known for its influential black leaders, such as Martin Luther King Jr. and Maynard Jackson. Many African American entrepreneurs and professionals find inspiration and a sense of pride in Atlanta’s legacy of black excellence.

While Atlanta has many positive aspects, like any city, it also has its challenges. The traffic congestion and urban sprawl are some of the downsides of living or doing business in the city.
