Exploring Life & Business with Denise Edwards of Bullseye Realty Group LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Denise Edwards.

Hi Denise, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I originally pursued my license to pay off debt. Right after I received my license in November 2016, my marketing contract position ended in December. I hit the ground running after the holidays while looking for a new marketing position. I ended up finding temporary positions while working with clients and fell in LOVE with real estate. My business tripled from year one to year two. And since that I have been pretty consistent in units and volume. I was Rookie of the Year and the top 5 individual agents at my former brokerage. From Year 2 on, I’ve always capped. Today, I am primarily a referral business working with family and friends and their loved ones. Additionally, I have built strong relationships with other agents across the country who consistently send me their Atlanta based business opportunities. Now, I am working on getting licensed in a second state.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t necessarily been a smooth road as I didn’t have the structure and processes in place. And I am probably still not where I would like it to be with all of my processes. With minimal start-up funds, I was strategic in how and what I invested into the business. I primarily utilized social media to build my business and brand. So now, my sphere are (hopefully,) fully aware that I do real estate. Subsequently, when I see people I know, they usually talk to me about real estate and I don’t have to bring it up in conversation.

As you know, we’re big fans of Bullseye Realty Group LLC. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
I chose this name for my business, as early on, I knew that I wanted to hit the target for and with my clients. There have been times, where I knew the ideal home for my buyers when we saw it. Sometimes, I have to wait for them to realize it and they usually come around. All of my clients know that I work with Strong Like/Love. This philosophy allows me to have a very high close rate. The buyers that find that usually will fight through the hurdles to get the home. And same goes for my sellers, when we can identify the buyer who really loves the home, we know they will work hard to get to the closing table when needed.

My lifetime joy has always been helping people and this is just another way for me to do that. Furthermore, as real estate is a great option to building generational wealth, I love being apart of that process as it’s very rewarding for me. Ultimately, being a Realtor allows me to help maximize equity for sellers and identify resources to get the buyers in their home. It’s a great place to be.

I find that I make things happen for my clients. Like if the buyer’s schedule is hectic, I get video footage of the home and provide feedback. Or if there is something missing, I become resourceful to see how I can obtain what might be needed. One of my mentors always said, don’t come to me and say it’s not your job. So ultimately, if you want to make sure your client gets the home or liquidates their equity, then it is my role to help facilitate that the best way I can. So I tend to collaborate with the other agent, lender, closing attorney or anyone else that is involved so we can get the keys to the house moving along.

Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
I love what I do. I found my passion. And can’t wait to help new clients achieve their real estate goals.

After consistently ranking in the top 5-15% in units and/or volume, I am a Lifetime Top Producer with the Atlanta Board of Realtors.

In 2022, I sold my 100th home as a solo agent and still counting.

I’ve also worked with investors.

Each year, I catch up with my past, current and future clients by hosting events such as Movie Premieres, Girls Night In and I’ve also been featured at events to speak about building wealth.

At my former and current brokerage, I’ve served on the Agent Councils to help other agents grow their careers.

I’m currently a mentor to new agents as they being their real estate career. This all ties back to my passion of helping others by extending my time and talents with both clients and other agents.

Prior to Real Estate, I was a brand Marketing Manager at multiple Fortune 500 companies. This experience translates well into real estate because I had to collaborate with cross functional teams as well as worked on multiple facets of marketing. Furthermore, my early days in the airline industry allowed me to fine-tune my customer service skills.
