Loren, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Loren Riché is Afro-Latina American Artist, Writer, and Model from Atlanta, GA. Loren Riché started performing at the tender age of 5, going door to door with a neighborhood friend, in Chicago singing “Fantasy” by Mariah Carey ft OBD from the Wu Tang Klan for her neighbors for and would then ask for a dollar. Surprised by the young riche knowing the song often got her the dollar she sang her heart out for. Loren was raised by a single mother, which is where she gets her tenacity and drive from.

With the never give up attitude and support of her small team , Loren has been featured on G.O.O.D. Music projects like “Good Morning Good Night” by five time Grammy Winner Malik Yusef. “Promised Land” Ft Adam Levine, Loren Riché, and Kanye West and co-wrote“By Your Side”. Loren Riché is currently performing “Tunnel Vision”, featured on Super Artist and phenomenon HeadKrack aka HK of Dish Nation latest Mental Health project “Mikrodose”, all over the United States. Tunnel Vision is something Riché has learned is an absolute necessity in order to make any dream a reality, no matter how discouraged you feel you have to know that it will happen and continue to put in the work until it does. Sometimes this looks like sleepless nights in the studio, sometimes it looks like moving across the country to learn a skill, sometimes it looks like another 100 squats in the gym, but as long as you put your work with your faith/vision you can accomplish anything, Well that and having the right people around you to pour into you.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Has the road been smooth? Absolutely not. I have had my faith and will tested almost every step of the way. Everything I have ever done, I was told I couldn’t do it. I couldn’t be an artist, me and my team of two got me on an HBCU tour. I was told “I wasnt pretty enough to ever be a model” I have model at everything from Fashion Week to Comic Con. I have had to overcome a lot but the most important thing I think we overcome as a whole, is our own self doubt! You can do anything and you should bet on challenges, they show you how bad you really want it!

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am an artist, I sing, I rap, I write. That’s what I’m know for, well and modeling in Los Angeles. The thing I am most proud of is I get to create , the world around me. I get to imagine in my head and heart and bring it into reality and other people enjoy my art or thoughts. That the greatest honor that someone can relate to my words or the pictures I paint via clothing or modeling. It’s being able to create and connect. Im most proud of that. I think what sets me apart is the fact I am honest in my art, it’s really me. These are my thoughts, my wins, my loses, my flaws, my growth. I really try to be as transparent as possible and I believe in the new release coming this year you will definitely be able to see my vulnerability.

Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
I believe AI and virtual shows will be the way. I think that if you learn how to use these tools, it will present an opportunity to reach people beyond your regular genres and social structures. I think that finding ways to generate revenue via ownership of intellectual property is future, in any industry. I also think that due to the fact AI is going to be so popular people will crave personalized interactions with the actual person/artist.
