Quincy, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Hey, what’s up! My name is Quincy a.k.a. QWave. I’m a music producer from South Atlanta, Georgia.
Growing up, my mother and father always had me in some sort of activities! I grew up playing lots of sports, and I dedicated my life to baseball and basketball in the beginning stages of my life..
My mother is from New York, and my father is from the Bahamas.
My mother is a retired art educator, and my father works for database systems for some of the biggest hotels in the Bahamas.
My mother has been teaching art for over 40 years! My father has been working for database systems for over 40 years as well!
My parents split when I was in middle school, which caused a lot of conflict between my athletic dreams and my education. So I rerouted my career as I grew up to become the young man that I am now.
Music has helped me a lot because it helped me cope with stress and pain from family and friend situations growing up.
The first time I fell in love with music, was when I was with my father. We were riding in his Cadillac CTS, the old-school version, and he was tapping a rhythm on the steering wheel with his hands.
Back in the day, my father used to play in the band, he played the drums to be exact.so that’s how I got my rhythm and skills from!
I was so intrigued by the sound, and I fell in love with making beats and listening to beats.
Another person that inspired me is my mother!, She was always into music and art! With my mother’s art visuals, it allowed me to create sounds that I’ve never created before!
My mother has gotten her skills from my grandmother, Ms. Marie Brooks!
My grandmother owned a dance company in New York!,
yes, we are a creative family lol!
I’ve been making beats for 5+ years on and off. I started taking my career very seriously consistently since 2024.
I create all genres of music, so that I can be able to touch any and everyone around the world!
My goal is to be able to get my sound out to the rest of the world, so that they can become productive from listening to my frequencies.
My beats can also be a great healing medicine!
How I got to where I’m at?
Blood, sweat, and tears, hard work and dedication is how I got to this point in my life right now..
I am an upcoming producer that’s still on the grind and that’s ready to take on the World 🔊🔥!
I’ve worked with artist such as, Lotto Savage, Street nitty the representer, Bleugangsta, Keyshaun Anglevoice, and many more upcoming artist.
I’m glad I’m able to emphasize on my gift so that I can be able to help people around the world with the sounds that I put out!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t been a smooth road at all! With life you go through challenges, ups and downs so that way you’re molded, and you stand firm in any in every situation to be able to get to your destination and where you need to go in life!
Success is not easy, it’s all about consistency, hard work and showing up with the intentions of love!
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Right now I work at 9 to 5 so that way I can take care of my bills. Along side of that I love to help people! So I train people in personal fitness.
If I’m not doing those two things, I am in the studio creating and making beats for the world!
What sets me apart from others? My hard work and dedication! My faith and commitment and believing in the most high so that way I can operate and spread the love and knowledge to everyone that needs it on planet Earth!
That’s what I’m doing it for!

In life, you have to take risk! My definition of risk is basically working for free and not expecting nothing in return!
You have to risk losing friends you have to risk a lot of things to become successful!
Taking risks builds, faith, and strength!
