Check Out Simone Sharice’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Simone Sharice.

Hi Simone, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I always say my journey has been anything but linear, but every twist and turn brought me closer to who I’m meant to be. I’m originally from New York, born to Jamaican parents, and I’ve always had a creative spirit.

I started by sharing hair tutorials from my bedroom, just being myself and hoping to help someone feel more confident. That passion eventually grew into a full-time career as a beauty, wellness, and lifestyle creator. I launched my hair brand, Soft Muse, became a certified Pilates instructor, and I’m now building Sundai Olive, a health and wellness brand rooted in Pilates, mindful movement, and intentional living.

I’m also a huge advocate for mental health and showing up authentically. My goal is to inspire women to prioritize themselves, take up space, and live beautifully from the inside out.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, it hasn’t been a smooth road. Turning 30 came with a lot of reflection and figuring out who I am and where I want to go. Pivoting from being known mainly for hair to stepping into the wellness space was challenging. I had to rebuild my confidence and find my voice in a new lane.

My mother lived with a mental illness, and that experience taught me how important it is to prioritize wellness, understand what we put into our bodies, and lead with compassion. It’s a big part of why I care so deeply about this work.

I’ve also had to learn how to advocate for myself as a creator, especially when negotiating pay. But thankfully I found an agency to advocate on my behalf. Also, stepping into the Pilates world as a new instructor came with moments of doubt, but each challenge has helped me grow into the woman I’m becoming.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
What sets me apart is my ability to blend softness with strength. I keep it real, I show the behind-the-scenes, and I genuinely care about helping women prioritize themselves in a world that constantly pulls them in different directions.

What I’m most proud of is how I’ve been able to evolve. Im proud to have been apart of the Ulta Beauty Collective in 2022. I’m a content creator, Pilates instructor, and the founder of two brands: Soft Muse Hair and Sundai Olive- wellness and movement. I’m known for creating content that helps women feel confident, take care of themselves, and embrace their glow , whether it’s through a hairstyle, a skincare ritual, or a Pilates flow.

I currently teach at Kinfolk Pilates, a private studio based in Atlanta, where I enjoy working closely with clients and helping them reconnect with their bodies through mindful movement. I also co-host a podcast called So, About That with two amazing women, Kemberly and Parker, where we dive into real conversations about life, growth, and everything in between.

We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
Something people might be surprised to learn about me is that I’m Jamaican and I absolutely love embracing my culture whether it’s through food, music, or how I carry myself. I’m also a pescatarian, born and raised in the Bronx, and fun fact: I used to do gymnastics and loved the uneven bars. It’s wild how movement has always been a part of my life, even before Pilates.
