Check Out Amber Krystal’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Amber Krystal.

Hi Amber, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My journey didn’t begin in a place of ease or abundance — it started in the middle of suffering, affliction, and unimaginable brokenness. In some of my darkest, most painful seasons, God began to birth something sacred within me. It was in those moments of heartbreak, betrayal, trauma, and rejection that BeHealed BeWhole BeMature Ministries — A Place of Metamorphosis was born. What started as God’s way of freeing me, became a lifeline for countless others. This ministry was created to help people confront the broken, traumatic, toxic, and dysfunctional areas in their lives that quietly sabotage destiny. It’s about becoming healed, whole and mature internally — not just appearing successful on the outside.
But it didn’t stop there. God expanded my assignment beyond the four walls of traditional ministry. He gave me a mandate for what I call Marketplace Ministry — a divine blending of faith, business, beauty, wellness, and media spaces. It’s a lane not many have traveled before, and honestly, it hasn’t always been easy. The idea of integrating ministry principles into the marketplace was met with skepticism. Yet, I stayed obedient to my assignment God entrusted me with. Through social media, creating my own path in the beauty and esthetics world, producing a DVD, and writing many books including my recent eBook A Call to the Wilderness: A Pursuit to Purpose and Destiny on Amazon, doors began to open.
Today, I’m an author, actress, a cover girl magazine feature, a ministry leader, a podcast guest syndicated across iHeart Radio, Spotify, Apple, and Amazon, and a professional makeup artist and esthetics instructor with film and television credits. Every opportunity I’ve received, from speaking engagements to interviews and magazine features, has been an extension of that original call birthed in my suffering.
I am most proud of the freedom I now live in — freedom to be unapologetically me in every space God calls me to occupy. My work, whether in ministry or the marketplace, centers around one core mission: to help people heal, become whole, and mature into the people God always intended them to be. And through it all, I remain deeply committed to living an authentic life that feels good on the inside — not just looks good on the outside.
That’s how I started, and by the grace of God, that’s how I’ve gotten to where I am today.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Absolutely not. The road to where I am today has been anything but smooth. It’s been rugged, painful, unpredictable, and at times, so overwhelming that I wondered if I’d ever make it out. I’ve walked through seasons of trauma, betrayal, abuse, and even homelessness. I’ve had to grieve the version of myself I lost in toxic relationships, unsafe environments, and dysfunctional systems — both personally and professionally.

There were moments where I felt overlooked, misunderstood, and unseen. Times when doors didn’t open, opportunities fell through, and people I trusted caused some of my deepest wounds. But through every valley, one thing remained constant — God’s hand on my life.

I’ve had to unlearn patterns of survival and dysfunction passed down through generations. I had to heal not just from what happened to me, but from the mentalities and belief systems that were silently sabotaging my growth. I learned that freedom requires sacrifice, discipline, and a conscious decision to stop settling for environments that aren’t healthy for your self-esteem or your nervous system.

It hasn’t been easy. I’ve battled imposter syndrome, financial hardships, and the temptation to shrink myself to fit into spaces and places not designed for me. But each struggle became a classroom. Each heartbreak became a blueprint. And every tear I shed was watering the very ground my ministry and marketplace calling would grow from.

Those struggles have now become the reason I’m so passionate about helping others heal, become whole, and mature. I believe God allows us to experience certain valleys not just to deliver us, but to raise us up as deliverers. And though the road was rough, it built a resilience in me that no title, platform, or accolade could’ve ever given.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
At the heart of what I do is healing, wholeness, and maturity. My ministry, Be Healed, Be Whole, Be Mature Ministries — A Place of Metamorphosis, was birthed out of my own personal suffering and affliction. It’s a safe space I created not just for myself but for others who’ve lived through toxic, dysfunctional, traumatic, and broken environments. I specialize in walking people through their pain and helping them confront the unresolved issues that are keeping them stuck.

I’m known for helping people identify the hidden wounds, cycles, and generational patterns that have been quietly sabotaging their potential. Through my work, whether it’s in ministry, mentorship, media, or marketplace settings, I help people heal from the inside out — because what good is it to look good on the outside when you’re broken on the inside?

What I’m most proud of is finally being free — free to show up as my healed, whole, mature, authentic, unapologetic self. I no longer feel the need to water down my story or dim my light to make others comfortable. I’m proud that my transparency has become a lifeline for others, proof that you can overcome anything when you surrender it to God.

What sets me apart is that my ministry has successfully crossed over into the marketplace. Many people keep ministry and business separate, but I’ve been called to both. I believe healing isn’t just for the church — it’s needed in boardrooms, beauty salons, classrooms, film sets, and every space where people gather. I’ve been blessed to market my message in spaces where you wouldn’t traditionally see ministry, and it’s opened up doors for impact and influence on a global scale.

Because whether you’re sitting in a pew or at a corporate conference table, everyone is navigating something — and everyone needs healing, wholeness, and maturity.

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
I truly believe the world is changing in a major way. For decades, we’ve lived in an era where trends and movements were created to appease the ego — focusing on image, status, and surface-level success. But I sense, and I’m already seeing, a global shift happening. People are no longer drawn to what looks good; they’re craving what feels real.

We’re entering a time where people want to be connected to things and people they can relate to — raw, authentic, unfiltered, and honest. They’re looking for healing, for purpose, and for answers to the deeper issues they’ve carried privately for too long.

The very thing God gave me over five years ago — a message of healing, wholeness, and maturity — which seemed out of place then, will become the new normal. Marketplace ministry and transformational spaces that confront the realities of trauma, dysfunction, toxicity and brokenness will no longer be the exception but the expectation.

I see the industries of beauty, wellness, faith, media, and personal development blending more than ever before. People will prioritize internal transformation over external validation. Brands, leaders, and influencers who are willing to be vulnerable and offer solutions for the soul, not just the surface, will lead the next wave.

The future belongs to those who can show up healed, whole, and mature.
