Today we’d like to introduce you to Brandon L Voss.

Brandon L, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
So I began playing the piano around 9 or 10 years old. I was introduced to this instrument by my father. I would travel with him to his gigs around the city of Memphis,Tn. On Saturdays, my dad would play old school music throughout the house as we cleaned up. Artists such as Grover Washington Jr, Earth Wind and Fire, Al Green, Steely Dan, and other artists to name a few were constantly playing in the background. I’ve always been drawn to sound like real sound. The kind that makes you feel before you can name what you’re feeling. How sounds ushered behavioral responses in individuals were always intriguing to me. As I fast forward through time, picking up other instruments and receiving degrees in music, individuals would always as if I taught music. I never looked at myself as an educator but people would always migrate to me and insist that I teach them due to my ability to use people strengths within themselves to help them learn or understand situations or skills that they seek to understand or learn. Parents would state that their kids are having a hard time completing tasks or lack motivation to do things that they once loved. Somehow, I was able to shift their mindset. I did not stop there. Talking to professionals after a huge corporate gig that I was hired to perform at, individuals would ask how to motivate their team leaders. To me, I thought it was just casual conversation, but to the professionals, they believed I had a gift of speaking and shifting minds to bring the best out of you. Now as I look back from my start, If you had told me years ago that I’d be playing multiple instruments and helping people transform their way of thinking to maximize professional and personal growth I would’ve laughed.

Now I walk among you a multi-instrumentalist, psychology enthusiast, and transformation strategist who has built a niche career helping professionals and everyday people reframe their lives from the inside out. I am an equal parts musician, mindset coach, and emotional architect, that combines deep psychological insight using strategies such as the universal language of music to unlock personal breakthroughs in the boardroom, in therapy adjacent sessions, and on stage.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
No it has not been an easy road. Counting and betting on yourself when there are so many negative influences in the word to derail you is taxing as an entrpreneur. But, every road you take will have obstacles for you to figure out how to maneuver around. Obstacles strengthen resilience which is essential for having a continued growth mindset.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a professional and personal development coach and speaker who delivers transformation and not just information. In my speaking and coaching I do not just share ideas, I am changing how people feel, think, and lead. I deliver a reset for overwhelmed professionals, a breakthrough for stuck leaders or teams, and a spark of meaning in a high-stress, results-driven world for personal growth. What sets me aside from others in the same field is that I am a renowned musician, mindset coach, and emotional architect who combines deep psychological insight with the universal language of music to unlock personal breakthroughs in the boardroom, workshops/sessions, and on stage.

What were you like growing up?
I was very observant and intuitive. I loved learning how things operated and asking the question why. I was a very active kid. Playing outside was exciting to me and taking walks outside was enjoyable. Being by myself also did not bother me. I did not need a crowd of people around me for me to enjoy what I was doing. I loved telling jokes.
