Roosevelt Boles, Jr.
Short Bio
Roosevelt Boles, Jr. born in Mount Vernon, New York, raised in Hampton, South Carolina has over time created what many are beginning to recognize as his musical genius. His love for the Lord and music propelled him down various avenues to help understand his purpose for his ministry. Intrigued at a young age by strong musical influences, his senior release has been a long time coming and remains special for Roosevelt Boles. Roosevelt has been fortunate to have projects released with Starrtraxx Production in Atlanta, Ga. Allowing him to release such singles “Show Me” which gained him Rhythm of Gospel winner “Male Artist of The Year” and R. Kelly “World’s Greatest” giving him Urban AC Radio traction as well. Roosevelt has been blessed to share in song with Latocha Scott from the female pop group XSCAPE on Boles’ Sophomore CD entitiled “Mirror, Mirror”. This project got incredible support of Dr. Bobby Jones and Atlanta’s own “Coco Brutha” of 93.5Fm/102.5 radio personality. Roosevelt also appeared in Tyler Perry’s Motion Picture Witness Protection.
Roosevelt was also nominated by Silver Dollar Production to opposite Rueben Studdard and Johnny Gill. Toronto Gospel Magazine featured Roosevelt more than six months for his incredible contributions and incredible music gifts.
Roosevelt has share the stage with gospel legends such as: Dr. Bobby Jones, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Kim Burrell, Tye Tribett, Dorinda Clark-Cole, J. Moss, Beverly Crawford, Albertina Walker, Ricky Dillard, Byron Cage, Dottie Peoples, Leonard Scott, Shirley Murdock, Melvin Williams and a host of matriarchs.
Roosevelt currently has been representing the USA for Global Competition as a Finalist(top 4) for the Voice Of McDonald’s(Over 1.6 billions submissions) where he holds the first to ever represent ATLANTA, Georgia. With incredible reviews by Wayne Brady and the entire 45,000 fans that gave Boles the only STANDING OVATION at the event. Roosevelt had the honors of being selected to sing the National Anthem for The ALTANTA FALCONS final home game where he received OUTSTANDING REVIEWS and AUDEIENCE APPLAUSE. Roosevelt was selected for international commercial with McDonald’s singing during a customer’s visit with video going viral in less than 24 hours. Evolving Roosevelt in the music arena to a level he has never been able to imagine. This project you will hear today will not only bring a Fresh Wind of musical sounds from Roosevelt, but a new level of anointing has been poured into this project. Connecting with the great Music Director Leonard Beaty and Producer Christopher Starr has present day releasing the new project entitled, “THESE ARE THE THINGS YOU ARE”. Gaining incredible responses from this new project has open avenues in London and Australia with a demand for Roosevelt. Once project leaked a lyric video, the following social media sites went viral: Twitter 26 .5K and growing, Instagram 4.9K, Musician Fan Page 2.5K and growing, YouTube Lyric video 6K in less than 3 weeks. Buzz from many are songs on this project is Sunday Morning Worship Songs that take you into the presence of GOD, and the dream of every Praise and Worship Leader. After first week of project releasing, Rhythm Of Gospel has nominated Roosevelt in five categories: Praise and Worship CD of The Year, Rhythm Of Gospel Artist of The Year, Contemporary Artist Of The Year, Praise and Worship Male Vocalist of The Year, Best Performance by Male Artist. Now the project has gotten the attention and endorsement of IGA Talent MGMT. Group with Mr. Damon “D” Stewart sharing to radio stations worldwide on this project that is a must have. Roosevelt’s single charted right under top 30 on Gospel Billboard Chart and has the endorsement of Super Star Kirk Franklin who is playing Roosevelt’s highly nominated single “THESE ARE THE THINGS YOU ARE”
Roosevelt has introduced his sisters (TrinityOneSound/T1Sound) into the music industry 2021, and they are taking the industry by storm. With more than 50 different nominations in the industry, they continue to stay focused on the assignment in which GOD has ordained.
Roosevelts in 2023 became the recipient of 8X Global awards from several notable entities and was blessed to be a 3X DOVE AWARD NOMINEE.
GOD using him and his ministry even more July ‘25 gave him a total of 12X Global Award winner and now a 4X DOVE AWARD NOMINEE. Even still Roosevelt has over fourteen more nomination this ‘25 year and holding fast to what GOD has for him and his more.
Currently Roosevelt is completing yet another project for 2025 entitled, “FAMILY AFFAIR”. Here Roosevelt is featuring different family members that GOD has ordained to appear. GOD has also allowed Roosevelt to conclude the project with the World’s Top Twenty sought after musician EJ Lee to complete this incredible project.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road hasn’t been smooth, but when you allow GOD to lead you on this road/journey/kingdom assignment, he continues to make the crooked straight, and the rough places smooth. I have no reason to fear, as GOD is the LORD and keeper of my life. I would say, I wouldn’t do this without him. AT ALL!!!!

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
WOW!!! Yes I would say that GOD has been AMAZING in my personal and professional life as well. I started my journey in 1995 as a General Manager for McDonald’s. It was certainly ordained by GOD as I had no intentions of having a degree and going down this journey is what I said. Being ignorant about all that this career would afford me, I fell in the norm of ignorance.
I had no idea that I would be responsible for at that time 2.5 million dollars of annual revenue. Talk about surpassing a degree, but I would also obtain knowledge my degrees did not provide. Understanding business, and executing it first hand, which brought experience. I never knew I would understand, inventory, scheduling, marketing, people development, action plans and strategic planning, training and being someone’s employer, mentor, coach, counselor. The largest was managing a 2.5 million dollar operation. At first I was like what the world, and why am I doing this. It wasn’t until I got in it, that GOD taught me, it wasn’t about me, it was about the people that I was going to some in contact with and how I impact their lives. When this light bulb went of, I was a force to be reckoned with. I found my purpose for that season in my life. When you allow GOD to ordain your steps, you have not choice but be successful. I continues this journey and to look and hear the testimonies of some of my previous employees, you can have the check and give me those. I have so many, but I will share one and will keep it close to not share personal of previous employee. I had an employee who got pregnant and was going to abort the baby. She was afraid to tell he mother. I encouraged her that she needed to tell her other and that she would be fine, if she follow what was the real course for her life and she knew who and what that entailed. I scheduled at Saturday breakfast with her and her mom. OMG I had no idea where this would go, but for the sake of time, I shared with her mom, that no it wasn’t what we thought was idea, or what we had been taught, but so was JESUS situation with Joseph and Mary, but look who he became. Not condoning the act, or the process, but we don’t know all the details, but we know she learned and had taken care of her actions to whom she needed to. The mother of course was still admit about abortion. Long story short, the young lady had the baby and he (the baby that was to be aborted) has become a doctor and is taking care of mom and the grand mother. I was blessed to see them and me and grandma share moments of how this became her blessing. It’s so many stories like this that validated my obeying the voice of GOD. My career led me to overseeing over 1100 employees, 350 managers, certifying over 3500 managers and them obtaining over 5000 certified food handlers in my 30 plus year. The conclusion is I was accountable for over 24.5 Million dollars in revenue. ONLY GOD CAN DO THAT!!! AND TO GO I WAS A SUCCESS!!!! TGBTG!!!

We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
They love to call me a fearless leader, but there are many times that I am TOTALLY FEARFUL, but when I turn my flesh to JESUS!! THE GREATER ONE, that’s when I become fearless. Same thing as an Psalmist, Preacher and Prophet, I get nervous.
