Exploring Life & Business with Leah Rainwater of The Secret Garden Bar

Today we’d like to introduce you to Leah Rainwater.

Hi Leah, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
The Secret Garden Bar started as an idea that blended my love for nature, design, and hospitality, but it quickly became something much deeper. What truly draws me to this work isn’t just the beauty of the space or the drinks we create, but the beautiful people we get to interact with. Being invited to be apart of some of the most special moments in people’s lives is an honor. To me, hospitality is an opportunity to serve and love others well. Every time we roll up and set up the bar, my hope is that it becomes a space where people feel joy, belonging, and a little bit of wonder. What started as a creative idea, has turned into a venture that enables us to a part of peoples’ stories, one moment at a time.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, but it’s been a meaningful one. Navigating the business of mobile bartending has come with its fair share of challenges. There are things you just don’t know about until you know, like permits, regulations, logistics, branding, and so on. It takes a lot of commitment to researching, networking, calling the wrong people, calling the right people, asking questions, and moving forward even when things feel uncertain. There have been plenty of times where I didn’t have an answer, and all I could do was just keep moving and have faith that it would work out.

Starting something from the ground up requires a lot of resilience and risk-taking. No one steps into something new with complete fearlessness. If anything, it’s the opposite. What I’ve learned, though, is that courage isn’t the absence of fear; it’s faith in what you’re being called to do.

So, this process has stretched me, but really in the best ways. It’s strengthened my ability to be patient, persevere, and to trust. It has reminded me that the most meaningful things in life are often the ones that ask us to grow the most.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
The Secret Garden Bar is a mobile bar with a greenhouse-inspired design that truly makes a statement. It’s unlike anything else out there, part functional bar, part art piece, and it instantly transforms an event. We serve North Georgia and bring our nature-inspired bar experience to weddings, birthdays, corporate events, and celebrations of all kinds. The Secret Garden Bar is one of a kind, just like the people we serve.

What really sets us apart isn’t just the look of it, but the heart behind what we do. Our business is built on a deep commitment to excellence, fueled by an even deeper desire to serve and serve well. Every detail, from the way the bar is styled to the way a drink is handed across it, is intentional.

For us, it’s not just about drinks. It’s about creating beauty, joy, and connection, giving people a place to pause, smile, and be together. That’s the heartbeat of The Secret Garden Bar, and that’s what I’m most proud of.

Any big plans?
Right now, my focus is intently on laying a strong foundation for The Secret Garden Bar and bringing it to more people across North Georgia. I want to continue refining what we do and how we do it so every experience feels as special as it should.

My goal is to keep growing in a way that stays true to its roots (hah, no pun intended). Whether that means adding new experiences, collaborations, or growing into something even bigger, like a place that blends hospitality, nature, and community in new ways, I am excited to see where this road takes us. For now, I’m taking it one step at a time, trusting that the same faith and creativity that got us here will keep leading the way.
