Exploring Life & Business with Reilly Dornellas of La Pêche Parlor

Today we’d like to introduce you to Reilly Dornellas.

Hi Reilly, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started doing lashes when I was seventeen in my mom’s basement. It was shortly after my dad passed away, and what began as a distraction quickly turned into something I was passionate about. I started with a massage table from Amazon and a few clients, and it grew fast through word of mouth. I realized I didn’t just love beauty—I loved building something of my own and creating a great experience for people.

As things grew, I focused on improving my skills, building trust with clients, and learning the business side. That led to opening La Pêche Parlor and eventually expanding to two locations—one in Sandy Springs and one in Athens, Georgia. Even while running a business, I still make time for the things I care about outside of work, like coaching club volleyball. Through all of it, I’ve learned how to lead, stay organized, and build something meaningful from the ground up.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I wouldn’t say it’s been a smooth road, but I’m grateful for the journey. I started doing lashes within a year of my dad passing away unexpectedly, and I was working at Plato’s Closet at the time to pay for my first lash course. I didn’t have a roadmap—I just stayed consistent, learned as I went, and never made excuses.

There were challenges, but they pushed me to grow. I became more resourceful, more patient, and more confident in my ability to figure things out. Every step taught me something valuable, and it made me stronger both personally and professionally.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about La Pêche Parlor ?
La Pêche Parlor is a beauty studio with locations in Sandy Springs and Athens, Georgia. We specialize in eyelash extensions, brow services, and luxury spray tanning with a focus on soft, natural enhancement and timeless beauty.

What truly sets La Pêche apart is the intention behind everything we do. I’ve built a team of talented, genuine women who care deeply about their craft and the clients they serve. We prioritize consistency, detail, and a personalized experience, which is why so much of our business comes from referrals and long-term relationships.

La Pêche reflects a refined, French-inspired aesthetic—elegant but warm, elevated yet inviting. It’s not just a beauty studio; it’s a space where people feel welcome, cared for, and confident.

What were you like growing up?
Growing up, I was always independent and driven. I liked staying busy and was involved in a lot—volleyball, piano, Girl Scouts, and different school activities. I also had a business mindset early on and was always starting little side hustles, from baking to making jewelry. I’ve always been someone who works hard, sets goals, and enjoys building things on my own.
