Today we’d like to introduce you to TD Willaims.
Hi TD, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My entrepreneurial journey began in the early 1980s while I was working for Eastern Airlines and pursuing my business and marketing degree at the University of Georgia. Identifying a unique market opportunity, I founded Atlanta’s first combined freestanding and mobile vehicle reconditioning enterprise, Classic Car Caterers, in 1989. Through strategic planning and dedicated execution, I developed the firm into a premium service provider, building a robust client portfolio that included Turner Broadcasting, BellSouth, Ryder Systems, and General Motors.
This early success laid the groundwork for my next venture, Clear Imaging Alternatives, Inc. (CIA), which I established in 1996 as a world-class imaging products supplier. CIA was built on the innovative principle of providing re-engineered, cost-effective computer peripherals—a green technology that reduces operating costs while protecting the environment. To compete on a global scale, I formed a strategic alliance with Corporate Express, Inc., and secured local, state, and national minority business enterprise certifications, serving a prestigious client base that included Humana, Kaiser Permanente, the United States Air Force, and the Department of Defense Logistics.
In 2001, I directed my focus toward environmental sustainability, negotiating the global representation for a pre-combustion fuel catalyst technology, which I branded as ClearAir Plus, LLC (CAP). To drive its international adoption, I developed strategic partnerships within the commercial shipping and cruise industries, as well as key markets in China.
Today, my efforts are concentrated on my role as Founder and Managing Partner of a modern portfolio of companies. This includes **Bestwerks Optimization Solution Services LLC (BOSS)**, where we leverage cutting-edge technology to provide optimization and digital transformation services. You can learn more about our work at **www.boss1.tech** and explore our media presence and insights at **www.boss1.tech/media**. I also lead **T2 Automotive Ltd** (www.t2autoltd.com), a company dedicated to excellence in the automotive sector, and **T2 REI** (www.t2rei.com), which focuses on strategic real estate investments.
My career is a testament to my ability to anticipate market trends, build strategic alliances, and lead diverse ventures from concept to market leadership. From my first startup to my current endeavors, the constant has been a confident and professional commitment to innovation, sustainability, and delivering superior value.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Of course. Here is a narrative crafted as if T.D. Williams is speaking directly in response to the interview question, maintaining a confident and professional tone.

“Has it been a smooth road? Not in the slightest. A smooth road suggests a clear, paved path, and entrepreneurship is anything but. It’s about building the road as you drive on it.
My first major struggle was one of **legitimacy and validation**. Starting Classic Car Caterers straight out of college, the challenge was convincing established corporations like Turner Broadcasting to trust a startup with their assets. We had no track record, so we had to build our credibility one impeccable service at a time. It was a relentless focus on quality that finally turned those first major clients into long-term partners.
The next set of challenges came with **scaling and strategic positioning**. With Clear Imaging Alternatives (CIA), we weren’t just selling a product; we were introducing a new, green technology concept. The struggle was twofold: educating the market on the value of re-engineered peripherals while simultaneously building a supply chain and a service infrastructure that could compete with industry giants. Forming the alliance with Corporate Express was a pivotal moment, but negotiating that from a position of a smaller, minority-owned business was a significant hurdle that required immense strategic patience.
Perhaps the most profound obstacles emerged when **pivoting into new, uncharted industries**. Launching ClearAir Plus meant entering the complex global arena of environmental technology. We were now dealing with different regulatory environments, especially in China, and convincing the massive commercial shipping industry to adopt a new fuel catalyst technology. It required a deep understanding of international business, building trust in entirely new networks, and weathering the long sales cycles inherent to transformative tech.
Today, the challenge is one of **focus and strategic leadership**. As the Founder and Managing Partner of multiple active ventures—from BOSS in tech optimization to T2 Automotive and T2 REI—the struggle is no longer about starting one thing, but about effectively leading several. It demands building exceptional teams, delegating authority, and ensuring that each company not only operates independently but also thrives under a shared standard of excellence.
So, while the road hasn’t been smooth, each obstacle has been a masterclass in resilience, strategic thinking, and adaptation. The struggles aren’t setbacks; they are the very experiences that forge a sustainable enterprise.”
We’ve been impressed with Multi Practice, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Of course. Here is a concise, confident narrative from the perspective of T.D. Williams for that specific question.

“Thank you for the opportunity. My organization is a portfolio of ventures united by a core principle: **targeted optimization**. We don’t just provide services; we engineer efficiency and unlock latent value, whether it’s in a vehicle, a corporate IT infrastructure, or a real estate asset.
Specifically, through **T2 Automotive Ltd**, we specialize in premium automotive reconditioning and services, building on a legacy I started decades ago. With **T2 REI**, we focus on strategic real estate investments that capitalize on market potential. And at the heart of our current focus is **Bestwerks Optimization Solution Services (BOSS)**, where we leverage cutting-edge technology to streamline business processes and drive digital transformation for our clients.
What sets us apart is our founder-led, strategic mindset. We are not passive investors; we are active operators and problem-solvers. Our approach is to deeply understand a challenge—be it reducing operational costs with green tech at Clear Imaging Alternatives or improving fuel efficiency in the shipping industry with ClearAir Plus—and then deploy a tailored, high-impact solution.
Brand-wise, I am most proud of our legacy of **anticipating shift**. From identifying the need for mobile auto detailing in the ’80s to the potential of green tech in the ’90s and now digital optimization, we have consistently been ahead of the curve. Our brand stands for a proven ability to not only adapt to the future but to help build it.
I want your readers to know this: if you are looking for a partner who brings a founder’s passion, a strategist’s insight, and a proven track record of delivering results across diverse industries, then you have found us. We are built to solve complex challenges and drive tangible success.”
Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
Of course. Here is the updated narrative that incorporates the MIT IoT certification, reinforcing the authority and foresight in the response.

“Looking at the landscape across automotive, real estate, and technology services, I see a convergence around a few powerful, interconnected trends over the next decade.
The dominant theme will be **intelligent integration**. In the automotive sector, which T2 Automotive operates in, the shift isn’t just about electric vehicles; it’s about the data they generate. We’re moving from simply servicing vehicles to managing integrated mobility ecosystems. This means specializing in the software, connectivity, and advanced diagnostics that these new platforms require. The mechanical shop of the past will evolve into a connected hub for both physical and digital vehicle health. My certification as an I.O.T. Professional from M.I.T. has been instrumental in preparing for this exact shift, providing the foundational knowledge to lead at this intersection.
In technology and optimization, the core of BOSS, the big shift is the move from simple digital adoption to **AI-driven predictive optimization**. It’s no longer enough to implement systems; the value will be in leveraging AI and IoT networks to anticipate bottlenecks, automate complex decision-making, and create self-optimizing business processes. Companies that fail to integrate this layer of intelligence will find themselves at a severe operational disadvantage.
Furthermore, underpinning all of this is a non-negotiable focus on **sustainability and tangible ROI**. This is a trend I recognized early with ClearAir Plus and CIA. Whether it’s in real estate with T2 REI focusing on energy-efficient properties or in logistics where carbon footprint directly impacts the bottom line, ‘green’ is now a core financial metric, not just a marketing term. Technology will be the key enabler to measure, manage, and monetize these sustainability efforts.
So, in essence, I see the future not as separate industries, but as a fused environment where physical assets, real estate, and corporate operations are all interconnected through data and driven by intelligent, sustainable principles. Our strategic direction, backed by credentialed expertise in these key areas, is positioned precisely at this intersection, ensuring we’re not just observing the future, but actively building it for our clients.”
