Hidden Gems: Meet Christopher Thomas of The Love Language of Touch

Today we’d like to introduce you to Christopher Thomas.

Hi Christopher, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I began my career as a massage therapist in 2001. At the time, I was working a corporate job that I wasn’t satisfied with. A close friend suggested to me in 2000 that I would probably find purpose again if I decided to pursue massage therapy as a new career—back story. She was able to suggest this to me because I (to her) had a natural affinity for massage, as I had been doing massages for people as a favor since 1992.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Smooth now. Not so much before 2007. Massage therapists at that time did not have licensing available. Massage therapists up to that point were only able to be certified.

We’ve been impressed with The Love Language of Touch, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
At The Love Language of Touch, we strive to provide up-to-date therapeutic massage therapy services. We also provide a couples massage class (for private use, of course)
