Ray Lora shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.
Good morning Ray , we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: What battle are you avoiding?
Potato chips.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Ray Lora. My profession is Occupational Therapy and I specialize in Pediatrics (ages, birth to 5 years and serve school age children).
What makes my work special is that I serve children with unique needs and developmental delays. Also, I serve and support their families, caregivers and community stakeholders.
Today, I have the privilege of serving children with unique needs and their families who are military service members in our American military.
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
The moment that I accepted “what is” combined with being grateful, the world and life unfolded and continues to do so.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
Keep quiet, observe, listen auditorily and intuitively. The answers are in the silence.
Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
Health/self-care management, relationships, service to others and my career.
Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. If you knew you had 10 years left, what would you stop doing immediately?
Nothing.
