Conversations with Nataly Frias

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nataly Frias.

Hi Nataly, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Hi, my name is Nataly, and I’m a first-time mom. Becoming a mom really changes everything especially your mindset, your schedule, and who you want around your child.
I started realizing that although there were a lot of groups out there, most were in the city and not really created for moms and kids together. Living on the Southside, I felt like we needed something closer to home a safe, welcoming space where moms could connect while our kids were included too.
That’s how MomWalksSouthsideATL started. What began as a simple idea to get outside and walk turned into a community. My goal has always been to remind moms that you deserve to pour into yourself, build connections, and not do motherhood alone all while creating memories with your little ones.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Not at all. Balancing motherhood and building MomWalksSouthsideATL hasn’t been easy. There were moments of doubt and low turnout, but every mom I meet reminds me why I started. I’ve learned that consistency and community matter more than perfection.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
What I’m most proud of is turning a simple idea into a growing village for moms. What sets me apart is that everything I do comes from lived experience as a mom. I focus on connection, consistency, and making sure moms know they deserve to pour into themselves too.

Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
Ibelieve what got me here wasn’t luck it was faith, consistency, and trusting the process. Even the setbacks helped shape the journey. I’ve learned that when you stay true to your purpose and keep going, God meets you halfway.
