Hi Chuck, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started my journey by completing degrees at Georgia College & State University and my master’s degree at Georgia State University. While completing my degree, I gained employment while pursuing my master’s and continued working in technology for several companies to better understand how systems work together. I’ve always had a dream of starting a business and becoming a business owner. Throughout my career, I’ve flirted with starting a business by building websites for several industries. I started my business in 2022 in marketing, focusing on search engine optimization to help my friends out. Through trial and error, I’ve learned how to combine several disparate skills from IT and Marketing. I struggled to find how to provide value until I understood how my skills interconnect. After being in business for 4 years, I’ve discovered a niche in building marketing systems that save time and attract customers through SEO based services. Now, I use websites and other marketing tools to create strategies that help businesses grow and to integrate websites & systems.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It’s never been a smooth road with understanding how to provide value to startups, especially when I was a startup myself. I worked 2 jobs to invest in building and learning how SEO works and continually ran into financial obstacles and learning gaps. I struggled to provide value to clients and learn how to build a business and navigate business relationships.

Rookie Innovations is a SEO centered digital marketing and intelligence company that utilizes websites and other marketing tools to help businesses advance forward digitally. Our main focus is to help businesses grow and save time. I’m most proud of being able to turn 4 years old and continue to help businesses grow in industries like Law, E-commerce, Medical/Holistic Health & wellness.
SEO is the center of what we do, but we use it to provide websites, integrations, automations and chatbots.
How do you think about luck?
There is no luck in business, but God has been instrumental in helping my life and business grow.
