Rising Stars: Meet Rashad Ali of Louisville ky

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rashad Ali.

Hi Rashad , it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
In spring of 1996 I was doing poster designs for a birthday party for a family, my friend and neighbor told me her uncle is a concert promoter and was looking for someone to create flyers for concerts and since then is been 30yrs ,is been a journey. My years in thid business im a businessman all though podcast and being a journalist is my hobby but being a businessman is who I am, making sure the job is done.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
My years of experience hasn’t easy smooth it has it’s bumpy roads , people will promise you opportunities and pay ,those situations always fail through. I learn from my early years to take no as a answer and be firm with my business and in order to be taken seriously, I demand respect not by aggressive but being straight to the point. Since then I had no problems.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Im a podcast host of “The RnB Talk Show” I’ve interviewed over 490 guest artists like “Glenn Jones” “After 7” “Kenny Lattimore” “Karyn White” “Michael Cooper” , the list goes on. One of the biggest highlight of 30yr career was entertainment tonight on ABC network showed my flyer on TV, I was jumping for joy. They could’ve shared anyone’s platform but I was shocked. What sets me apart from others is that my questions to guest I always make sure that viewers learn the history from artists. I got more interviews than any popular platform that started since 2019 “Talk shows” “Radio” “Podcasts”.

Any big plans?
My plans in the future is to host the red carpet, voice acting for tv commercials and work on to have my show on tv.
