Today we’d like to introduce you to Alexandra Hart.
Hi Alexandra, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Chat GPT and I wrote this, but It gives you an idea. Feel free to change/ embellish.
Dr. Alexandra Hart’s path to becoming a leader in aesthetic surgery began at the University of Georgia, where she built a strong academic foundation before continuing on to Emory University for both medical school and residency. During her training, she distinguished herself through her dedication to breast cancer research, with a particular focus on improving post-surgical recovery. Her work helped advance approaches that reduce reliance on narcotics while still effectively managing pain—an innovation that reflects her commitment to both patient safety and comfort.
Following her training, Dr. Hart chose to remain in Atlanta, joining an established practice where she quickly grew from an associate into a partner. During this time, she expanded her expertise beyond surgery, developing a deep understanding of the business of medicine. She excelled in marketing, embraced innovative techniques, and played a key role in elevating both patient experience and practice growth.
Driven by a vision for more personalized, high-touch care, Dr. Hart recently launched her own boutique concierge practice in the heart of Atlanta. Her practice offers the latest in aesthetic innovation while maintaining a strong emphasis on individualized attention and patient experience. Specializing in complex aesthetic breast surgery as well as a full range of facial procedures—both surgical and non-surgical—Dr. Hart combines technical precision with an artistic approach.
At the core of her philosophy is a deep commitment to listening. Dr. Hart ensures that every patient feels heard, understood, and cared for at every step of their journey. Her ability to blend advanced surgical expertise with a compassionate, patient-centered approach is what truly sets her apart and continues to define her growing reputation in the field
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
NO! It has certainly not. Learning a lot about the business of medicine which they do not teach you anything about in school. Additionally we are not taught how to sell ourselves or how to be “sales” people or do marketing and that was a new experinece of learning to be my own cheerleader without being inauthentic. Additionally a business divorce is still a divorce and just has hard painful and emotional as a marriage. So separating and starting my own while exciting has been hard and a ndew adventure
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
In my opinion we are the premier place- every single person is kind, caring, empathetic and TRULY cares about our patients. Behind the patient, there is not one person that want the patients to do well over me/my team. Patients can tell from the time they walk in that we will take good care of them. And we will go above and beyond to do so. I am known for breast surgery mastopexy augmentation with. natural breasts and internal mesh bra. I always make sure to treat the ENTIRE area not just the area. I want all my patients to feel beautiful. I am most proud of our perserverance. We are ALwAYS willing to change and adapt and improve things so that the patients feel better. I am also always learning and changing and if I find a better way willing to invest in the time and education. Additionally I believe in treating the whole patient, so we offer non surgical otpoins done by a board certified surgeon (ie. botox, fillers, lasers) and then the surgical aspect including deep plane facelifts coupled with fat grafint and lasers to treat the entire patient.
Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
There is a large group of female surgeons in Atlanta, and we are all collegial and friendly. They are some of my best friends and support. I also rely heavily on the aesthetic surgery society recommendations and improved. I attend many meetings. I am especially involved in the southeastern society of plastic surgeons. I will be a board member starting in June and have been the chairman of many committees. The most recent was the early career and candidate members that is invested in getting younger members involved with the society in order to continue our profession.
