Today we’d like to introduce you to Phillip And Kelly Lanier.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
A few years ago, we began creating unique knickknacks, signs, and other handcrafted items, and the enthusiastic feedback we received inspired us to launch our own business. In 2024, we invested in a laser engraver and started using our CNC router regularly, which allowed us to expand our capabilities and product range. After participating in several craft fairs and festivals, we’re excited to share our offerings with a wider audience. As a small, veteran-owned business based in Georgia, our mission is to deliver high-quality products at affordable prices while providing exceptional customer service.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The hardest thing has been trying to find the time to work on projects while having a full time job.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
We specialize in CNC Router and Laser Engraved projects, custom and personalized projects using materials such as wood, glass, anodized aluminum, copper, and brass, as well as stainless steel tumblers. We are most proud of everything we do. Our attention to detail and putting the customer first is what we belive sets us apart from others.
Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
If you do craft shows or fairs, make friends with your neighbors, you help them out, they’ll help you out. Also finding pages on Facebook, Youtube, and Instagram that generally relate to your type of business, thier advice can be helpful with the layout and flow of your booth and sales techniques. Same goes for building a website, if you do it through Squarespace there is a lot of good information that will help you be seen faster.
