Today we’d like to introduce you to Everett McKoy.

Hi Everett, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Based in Fairburn, Georgia, Metro Selfies proudly serves clients throughout the greater Metro Atlanta area. The company was originally founded in 2016 after my wife attended an event and was inspired by the photobooth experience she encountered. Recognizing its potential as a business, she launched Metro Selfies with a vision of bringing fun, engaging and memorable experiences to special events.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
In 2020, operations were paused because we were in a worldwide pandemic, but the story did not end there. In 2025, I stepped into a relaunch and lead the business into its next chapter. While the journey has not been without challenges, we remained committed to building a sustainable and successful business model. Rapid advances in technology continue to reshape the event and entertainment industry and adapting to these changes has required persistence, learning and determination.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Professionally, I have more than 30 years of experience in customer service and operations, having served as a director, manager and supervisor across multiple roles. I currently work as a logistics manager for an aviation company where efficiency, precision and accountability are essential skills I apply directly to Metro Selfies.

How do you think about luck?
At the core of both my life and our business philosophy are faith, family and service. We do not believe in luck, but rather in the power of prayer, faith and strong family values. These principles guide how we serve our clients and approach every event.
