Hi Christen Roberts & Kim Woods, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Dew+Glow Aesthetics was born from kitchen-table conversations between us as mom and daughter—honest, heartfelt discussions about beauty, aging, self-confidence, and the need for skincare that delivers REAL, and LASTING results. What began as our shared curiosity quickly evolved into a deeper purpose: creating a corrective skincare sanctuary of our own for those, alike us, navigating acne, hyperpigmentation, and aging.

From the very beginning, we envisioned more than just a treatment room—we set out to create a hydrohaven if you will. A curated space that feels both restorative and elevated, where clinical expertise meets nurturing energy, where every client feels truly seen, supported, and understood. Nurturing has always been at the core of our relationship, because we’re very close, and that same intention now defines every Dew+Glow experience we provide.

Rooted in Korean-inspired skincare philosophies and powered by advanced technology, our approach focuses on skin barrier repair, long-term skin health, and personalized treatment plans tailored to each individual client and their unique needs. We also like to prioritize education in everything we do—because we believe skincare should never be one-size-fits-all.

At Dew+Glow Aesthetics, we see every face as unique, with its own story—and we treat it with intention, integrity, and care. This is more than a business to us—it’s a legacy. A legacy of empowerment, confidence, and glowing skin, passed from mom to daughter, and now extended to every client we have the honor of serving.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Obviously not! With any new business venture—especially as family—you have to let the excitement and the grueling (lol) parts of business planning and administration live separately. In the beginning, we definitely blended the two, but as we continue to grow, we’re finding our rhythm. And with the steady growth we’re seeing in our community, we feel really blessed and confident that we’re on the right path—so we’ll just say it’s been smooth sailing (wink, wink, thanks to Kim’s U.S. Navy roots).

We each bring different strengths to the table, and where one of us may fall short, the other steps in and carries it forward. Entrepreneurship… it’s a journey. But we both naturally have that business acumen and mindset, so combining our perspectives just made sense—and we wholeheartedly trust each other as partners.

A lot of people are actually surprised to learn that we’re a mother-daughter duo running Dew+Glow Aesthetics together. Many of our clients come in familiar with our work or have seen us on social, but don’t immediately realize the dynamic—until it clicks and they’re like, “Wait… you’re family?”

It always becomes a full-circle moment when they connect the dots. What they’re experiencing in the treatment room—the care, the trust, the synergy—isn’t just part of our brand, it’s genuinely who we are. That family foundation naturally carries into how we treat and show up for every client.
