Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica Rochelle.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started in this industry back in 2009 as a makeup artist. That’s where I first fell in love with skin because let’s be honest, makeup only looks as good as the skin underneath it. Over time, that curiosity turned into a full-on obsession with understanding skin, not just covering it.
I went on to become a licensed esthetician and later an esthetics instructor, but before all of that, I had already built a strong foundation working in healthcare and serving in the Air Force. So discipline, structure, and actually caring about people? That was already in me. Esthetics just gave it a lane.
I officially founded Rochelle Aesthetics in 2017, and like most real businesses, it didn’t start with a big team, fancy space, or investors. It started with me figuring it out, building clientele, making mistakes, learning fast, and staying consistent even when it would’ve been easier to quit.
Over the years, I’ve grown from just offering services to creating real results for my clients, corrective skincare, not just “feel good” facials. That shift changed everything. Now people don’t just come to relax, they come because they trust me to fix what they’ve been struggling with.
At the same time, I realized I wasn’t just called to treat skin, I was called to teach. That’s where my advanced esthetics training came in. I’ve trained dozens of licensed estheticians, helping them sharpen their skills, build confidence, and actually make money in this industry without guessing their way through it.
Now, Rochelle Aesthetics has expanded into a larger space, offering more advanced services, building a team, and creating opportunities for other estheticians to grow their own businesses under my roof.
And if I’m being honest? The journey hasn’t been soft. I’ve experienced real life in the middle of building all of this loss, growth, rebuilding myself while still showing up for my clients and my business.
But that’s exactly why my brand is what it is today. It’s not just about glowing skin it’s about discipline, self-investment, and doing the work even when nobody’s clapping for you yet.
So yeah… I didn’t just “start a spa.”
I built a space where results, education, and real-life growth all meet—and we’re just getting started.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
This journey has been rewarding, but smooth? Absolutely not.
Building Rochelle Aesthetics came with a lot of behind-the-scenes pressure that people don’t always see. Starting out, it was me doing everything. . .services, marketing, booking, customer service while still trying to grow and be taken seriously in an industry where everybody claims to be an expert after one class.
Then there’s the real part: learning how to run a business, not just be good at skin. Two completely different skill sets. I had to figure out pricing, boundaries, policies, team building, leadership all while still showing up and performing at a high level for my clients.
And let’s talk about growth for a second because everybody says they want it until it requires change. Outgrowing spaces, systems, and even people has been one of the hardest parts. Expansion sounds cute until you realize it comes with more responsibility, more risk, and more pressure.
On top of that, life didn’t pause while I was building any of this. I’ve experienced real personal loss and still had to show up, lead, teach, and pour into others. That will stretch you in ways nothing else can.
There were moments of burnout. Moments of questioning if it was all worth it. Moments where things didn’t go as planned, or moved slower than I wanted. But I stayed consistent. I adjusted. I got better.
And honestly? That’s what makes the brand what it is today.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Rochelle Aesthetics ?
Let me go ahead and say this upfront, Rochelle Aesthetics is not your “come in, relax, sip tea, and forget about your skin type” kind of spa.
We’re results-driven. Period.
At Rochelle Aesthetics, we specialize in corrective and preventative skincare. That means we’re not just here to make your skin look good for the weekend, we’re here to actually fix what’s been going on underneath the surface. Acne, hyperpigmentation, texture, premature aging… all the things people have been trying to figure out on their own for years? That’s where we step in.
Our services are intentionally designed to go deeper than the average facial. We offer advanced treatments like customized facials, microneedling, chemical peels, hydrodermabrasion, and more always tailored to what your skin actually needs, not what’s trending on TikTok that week.
What really sets us apart though? It’s the education.
I don’t believe in gatekeeping. I educate my clients so they understand their skin, their products, and their routines. Because let’s be honest, half the reason people stay stuck is because nobody ever really explained what’s going on.
And that same energy carries into our training programs. Rochelle Aesthetics isn’t just a service-based business, we’re also an advanced esthetics training space. I’ve trained dozens of licensed estheticians, helping them build real skill, confidence, and structure in their business so they’re not out here guessing and hoping for the best.
Brand-wise, what I’m most proud of is the standard.
We’ve built a brand that stands on consistency, professionalism, and real results. Not hype. Not fluff. Not “Instagram skin.” Real skin, real progress, real transformation.
And as we continue to grow, expanding into a larger space, adding more advanced services, and creating opportunities for other estheticians to work and train, we’re staying rooted in that same foundation.
If you come to Rochelle Aesthetics, just know this:
you’re going to be educated, you’re going to be held accountable, and you’re going to see results.
And if you’re an esthetician stepping into my space?
You’re going to leave better than you came.
Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
Atlanta? Whew… it’s a love story with a little attitude.
What I love most is the energy. Atlanta is full of people building something, businesses, brands, legacies. It’s a city where you can really come up if you’re serious about your craft. There’s culture, there’s diversity, there’s style… and let’s not act like the beauty industry out here isn’t thriving. Atlanta clients? They care about how they look , and they’re willing to invest in it. That makes my job a lot easier.
I also love how supportive the community can be. When people tap in with you here, they tap in. Word of mouth is real, and if you’re good at what you do, Atlanta will talk for you.
Now… what I don’t love? Let’s talk about it.
The market is saturated. Everybody’s an “expert,” everybody’s offering something, and not everybody should be. So there’s a lot of noise to cut through, and as a client, it can be overwhelming trying to figure out who actually knows what they’re doing.
And of course… the traffic. I don’t even need to elaborate. If you know, you know.
But honestly, even with all of that? I wouldn’t build anywhere else.
Because Atlanta will challenge you, stretch you, and if you stay consistent, it will reward you too.
