Meet Dennisse Durand of Puerto Rico

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dennisse Durand.

Hi Dennisse, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I had a 25-year career in marketing, and my last job was overseeing the Marketing department for a multinational resort chain. Until one morning, God told me… “You will design a colorful, girly line and include colorful Bibles.”

I resisted doing it for a long time because I loved my career, but another morning God affirmed to me that He was the one who gave me the wisdom in marketing—and that now I would do marketing for Him with the love and passion I felt for Him and His Word.

I started with stickers and car fresheners, but as I saw the demand from the female audience for our products, I began to expand my line, and now our range of products is much broader.

Over time, we have created colorful tools to help women love the Word of God more and decorate their Bibles.

What excites me the most is hearing people’s testimonies when they read our products, because we evangelize in a different, fun, and colorful way.

At our events and kiosks, people come to receive a hug or a prayer… it is there that I confirm it is worth letting go of everything to serve the Lord and follow His will.

God’s favor has been so great that we are already evaluating new locations, including outside of Puerto Rico.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The greatest challenge in building Heaven Codes was financial. Starting a business from zero requires sufficient capital, but I saw God’s provision from above, and every time I managed to sell a little, I quickly reinvested it.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Throughout my marketing career, I consistently exceeded sales targets and earned awards from the companies I worked for. Today, my greatest pride is seeing how everything I learned along the way—and those achievements—have helped me position my own brand across Puerto Rico and in other countries.

What matters most to you?
That my family feels proud of me, because they mean everything to me—and I strive to be an example of perseverance for my son.
