Hi Elizabeth, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve been a serial entrepreneur and nonprofit developer for over two decades, building and supporting initiatives that create both economic opportunity and community impact. Throughout my journey, I’ve consistently looked for ways to turn ideas into sustainable, purpose-driven ventures.

My most meaningful and long-standing work has been as the co-founder of Est. Fourteen Forty-One LLC. What began as a small publishing company has evolved into a multi-faceted business offering full client services, including branding, merchandise, and creative development. I’ve had the opportunity to combine my professional experience, education, and passion to help grow multiple departments within the company.

Today, my work is centered around empowering others—whether through business development, financial education, or creating platforms that allow people to tell their stories and build their own legacies. My journey has really been about growth, adaptability, and staying committed to purpose while evolving with each new opportunity.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It hasn’t been a smooth road. As the saying goes, “life is filled with swift transitions,” and challenges don’t discriminate—regardless of your background or experience.

One of the most pivotal moments in my journey came in 2023 when I faced some serious health issues. That experience created a sense of urgency for me, both personally and professionally. It pushed me to take a deeper look at my financial foundation and the sustainability of our business if something were to happen to me.

While I had been diligent about planning—crossing my T’s and dotting my I’s—I realized there are gaps you don’t even know exist until you’re faced with the need. That realization led to the development of our life insurance branch. It wasn’t just a business decision; it was personal. I wanted to ensure protection, stability, and continuity for myself, my family, and the people we serve.

That challenge ultimately became a turning point—shifting how I approach both business and legacy, and strengthening my commitment to helping others be better prepared than I once was.

Est. Fourteen Forty-One LLC is a full-service consulting and creative development company built around three core pillars: planning, publishing, and promoting. At our core, we specialize in helping individuals and businesses take an idea and transform it into a fully executed, sustainable brand or initiative.

On the planning side, we provide strategic guidance across business startup, financial literacy, life insurance planning, event planning, and career development. We don’t just give advice—we offer curated resources and hands-on support tailored to each client’s goals.

Through our publishing services, we help clients bring their stories, ideas, and professional work to life. From editing and design to distribution and marketing, we guide them through every step so they’re not just creating content—they’re building something meaningful and lasting.

Our promoting services focus on brand development and visibility, helping clients expand their reach, connect with the right audience, and position themselves for long-term growth.

I wouldn’t be here without the people who have supported and built alongside me—especially my daughter and co-founder, Cori D. Brown. Cori has been a driving force behind the growth and evolution of our company. Her innovative mindset and strong IT expertise have expanded our reach onto a global platform, and she has led the way in integrating new technologies, including AI and strategic partnerships with online platforms. Her vision has helped position our company to grow, adapt, and remain relevant in an ever-changing business landscape.

This year, we’re proud to celebrate our 10th anniversary as both business partners and a company, and that milestone is a testament to our shared commitment, resilience, and belief in what we’ve built together.

I’m also deeply grateful for our extended community—our clients, supporters, friends, and family—who have supported us every step of the way.
