Hidden Gems: Meet Sabrina Lee of HerWay Training Institute

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sabrina Lee.

Sabrina, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started my journey with a passion for helping women create better opportunities for themselves through healthcare, beauty, and entrepreneurship. What began as a desire to educate and empower others eventually grew into HerWay — a brand focused on training, mentorship, and wholesale wellness products.

I first entered the healthcare education space by offering certification programs designed to help people start careers quickly and confidently. Over time, I realized many women also wanted guidance on building businesses and creating additional income streams, so I expanded into mentorship and wholesale retail products for spa owners and beauty professionals.

Today, I lead multiple sectors under the HerWay brand, including healthcare training programs, mentorship communities, and wellness/beauty product distribution. Much of my growth came through social media, especially TikTok, where I’ve been able to connect with and inspire women across the country.

My journey hasn’t been perfect or traditional, but every challenge taught me how to pivot, build, and keep going. Where I am today is the result of consistency, faith, creativity, and a genuine passion for helping others grow financially and professionally.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No, it definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Like many entrepreneurs, I’ve faced challenges with balancing multiple businesses, managing growth, and learning everything through experience rather than having a step-by-step blueprint. There were moments of self-doubt, burnout, and figuring things out as I went, especially while trying to grow a brand online and maintain consistency.

One of the biggest struggles was learning how to transition from simply having ideas into building structured businesses that could actually scale. Social media helped grow my audience, but it also came with pressure to constantly create, market, and stay visible. I also had to learn how to manage my time better, stay focused, and avoid becoming overwhelmed while juggling healthcare education, mentorship, and product development all at once.

Another challenge was building credibility in industries where you have to continuously prove yourself. Starting and growing HerWay required persistence, adaptability, and faith during seasons when results didn’t happen overnight.

At the same time, those struggles shaped me into a stronger leader and entrepreneur. They taught me resilience, creativity, and how to turn setbacks into opportunities to grow both personally and professionally.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about HerWay Training Institute ?
HerWay is a multifaceted brand focused on healthcare education, women’s entrepreneurship, and wellness products. Our mission is to help individuals — especially women — create financial opportunities, build confidence, and step into careers or businesses that can truly change their lives.

Through HerWay Training Institute, we offer accessible healthcare certification programs designed to help students gain skills quickly and enter the workforce with confidence. We specialize in programs that are flexible, beginner-friendly, and created for people who may be balancing work, family, or other responsibilities while pursuing their goals.

Beyond education, HerWay has expanded into mentorship communities and wholesale wellness and beauty products. We work closely with spa owners, beauty professionals, and entrepreneurs by providing products they can retail within their businesses while also helping them learn how to grow profitable brands of their own.

What sets HerWay apart is that we focus on both education and empowerment. We don’t just provide services or products — we help people see bigger possibilities for themselves. Much of our brand growth has happened organically through social media, where transparency, relatability, and real results have allowed us to build a strong community.

One thing I’m especially proud of is creating a brand that merges healthcare, beauty, and entrepreneurship in a way that feels modern, supportive, and inspiring. HerWay represents growth, independence, and creating success on your own terms.

I want readers to know that HerWay is more than a business — it’s a movement centered around helping people elevate their lives financially, professionally, and personally.

How do you think about luck?
I believe opportunities can sometimes look like luck from the outside, but a lot of what people call “luck” comes from preparation, consistency, and being willing to keep going even when things are uncertain. There have definitely been moments in my journey where the right opportunity, connection, or social media post opened doors at the perfect time, and I’m grateful for those moments.

At the same time, I’ve also experienced setbacks and challenges that felt like bad luck in the moment — whether it was business obstacles, stressful seasons, or plans not working out the way I expected. Looking back, many of those situations taught me important lessons about resilience, adaptability, and trusting the process.

Social media played a major role in helping grow my business, and in some ways, having content reach the right audience at the right time felt fortunate. But behind that was a lot of consistency, late nights, trial and error, and continuing to show up even when growth was slow.

Overall, I think luck may create opportunities, but persistence, faith, and hard work are what allow you to turn those opportunities into something lasting.
