Today we’d like to introduce you to Brianna Wilson.
Hi Brianna, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started my journey while working three jobs — as an esthetician and salon co-owner, and a retail manager. From the outside, everything looked stable, but I craved purpose and I knew God was stirring something deeper in me, I just didn’t know what. I always loved creativity, storytelling, and bringing people together, but I never imagined that ministerial content creation and community-building would become my full-time path.
What kickstarted everything was a dream I had. In the dream, I knew the Lord was clearly telling me it was time to let go of what was comfortable and fully trust Him with the vision He placed in my hands. It honestly scared me because entrepreneurship felt uncertain, especially leaving behind consistent income and what I thought was “safe.” But I couldn’t shake the feeling that I was being called into something bigger than myself. So I quit all three jobs and was radically obedient.
So, step by step, I started showing up online more intentionally. I began sharing my faith, my real life, my struggles, and the things God was teaching me in everyday life. What started as simple videos and honest storytelling slowly grew into a platform and community of women who resonated with authenticity, vulnerability, and faith.
Today, I’m a full-time creator, entrepreneur, and founder of Women Grounded (formerly known as The Good & Faithful Sisterhood) — a community focused on helping women grow spiritually through mentorship, gatherings, and intentional living. I’ve had the opportunity to build a platform reaching hundreds of thousands of people, lead international trips and retreats, partner with brands, create digital resources, and speak into the lives of women around the world.
Looking back, I’m grateful I took the risk. My journey has been a constant reminder that obedience and faith in Jesus can open doors you never could have planned for yourself.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Yes, there absolutely have been struggles along the way — and honestly there still are. Entrepreneurship is not easy. It can be scary, unpredictable, and requires a level of faith that constantly stretches you. There are moments of excitement and fulfillment, but there are also moments of doubt, waiting, uncertainty, and having to trust God even when things don’t make sense.
One thing I’ve learned is that entrepreneurship isn’t just about building a business — it’s also about becoming the person God is shaping you into through the process. There have been seasons where I questioned myself, felt overwhelmed, battled comparison, or wondered if I was truly capable of carrying the vision I was given. But in those moments, I’ve had to go back to the original promise and the reason I started in the first place.
Just like the story of Joseph in the bible. He received a dream from God early on, but the journey between the promise and the fulfillment was full of trials and difficult seasons. He experienced rejection, isolation, waiting, and uncertainty — yet he continued to rely on the promise God gave him at the beginning. That perspective has helped me tremendously.
There are still days where I have to remind myself why I started and remember the dream God placed in my heart when I stepped away from my jobs to pursue this path. Faith has been the foundation of my journey, especially in moments where I can’t see the full picture yet.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m a faith-based content creator, entrepreneur, and disciple who specializes in storytelling-driven content that blends faith, lifestyle, now new wifehood, and real-life experiences.
I love taking ordinary moments, conversations, trips, milestones, or lessons God is teaching me and turning them into stories that people can truly connect with. Whether I’m editing a Reel, documenting travel experiences, speaking at events, or sharing vulnerable moments online, my goal has always been to create content that feels honest, impactful, and human.
What I’m most humbled by is the impact my content has had on people’s lives and the community that has formed because of it. I’ve received countless testimonies from women who felt seen, encouraged, challenged, or inspired to grow closer to God because of something I shared in obedience online. To me, that means more than numbers or virality ever could.
I think what sets me apart is my ability to merge creativity, vulnerability, and faith in a way that feels genuine. I never want my content to feel overly curated or disconnected from real life. I want people to feel like they’re experiencing life alongside me — the highs, the lessons, the growth, the uncertainty, and the faith required through all of it.
What do you like and dislike about the city?
One thing I love most about Atlanta is the diversity, creativity, and opportunity here. There’s such a strong sense of culture, ambition, and community that makes the city feel alive. I recently moved here a few months ago from Tampa after living in my hometown for 26 years, so stepping into a completely new environment has been both stretching and inspiring. After getting married, I really felt confirmed by the Lord that there was purpose and assignment for me here in Atlanta, and since moving, I’ve already seen many doors, connections, and opportunities align in ways I couldn’t have planned myself.
As a creator and entrepreneur, I also love how Atlanta is full of people who are building, creating, and dreaming big. There’s room for collaboration, community, and growth, and that energy is really motivating to be around.
What I like least? Definitely the traffic — and paying for parking everywhere! That has probably been one of the biggest adjustments coming from Tampa. I’m still getting used to planning extra time for almost everything because of Atlanta traffic. But even with the chaos that can come with a fast-moving city, I still feel grateful to be here and excited for everything this season represents.
