Daily Inspiration: Meet LILITH

Today we’d like to introduce you to LILITH.

Hi LILITH, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Ever since I was a young girl, I always loved music. Whether it was singing, songwriting, or dancing, I always found myself creating and expressing myself through it. I began songwriting around age 13 and knew I wanted to grow up to be a pop star. Over the last years, I decided to take my music career more seriously by dropping original music, singing live vocals, and DJing all at the same time. It’s truly my happy place connecting with a crowd through music.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely wasn’t a smooth road for me. I was put through many open deck sessions, free gigs, endless attempts of making connections for any potential gigs. I also feel there is always someone rooting for your downfall, but in some weird way it motivates you to keep pushing harder. You learn to appreciate the struggles because they teach you the real side of the music scene and what you will tolerate as an artist.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Most days, I’m just a server at my family’s karaoke restaurant. This job I owe many thanks to because it funds my dreams and passions. As far as my music side of life, I specialize in songwriting and singing, creating melodies from scratch. My music is special to me because I work completely alone, having full control of my vision. Aside from making music in the EDM realm, I also took on the journey of DJing, and it’s been such a fun and crazy experience so far. My sets are very high energy and you will definitely want to dance. I am often told that my song selection is very unique, and that makes me so happy to hear! I hope when people hear my songs, they will instantly recognize my voice as “LILITH”.

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
The most important lesson I learned is to stay committed and focused if you really want to achieve you dreams. To never lose sight of what you’re working for and that it is possible to achieve.
