Today we’d like to introduce you to Vixx.
Hi Vixx, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I started creating through art and cosplay almost a decade ago because I loved storytelling and bringing characters to life. What began as a creative hobby slowly turned into something much bigger as I started sharing my work online, attending conventions, and connecting with communities that were just as passionate about gaming, anime, and creativity as I was.
Over time, I expanded into livestreaming and digital content creation, where I found that I really loved the interactive side of creating. Streaming let me combine gaming, art, cosplay, and community building into one space where people could genuinely connect and feel welcomed. Since then, I’ve spent the last several years growing my brand, creating content across platforms like Twitch, TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, and learning how to adapt content for different audiences while still keeping it authentic to me.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road. Like a lot of creators, one of the biggest challenges has been learning how to balance the creative side with the business side. When you first start, you’re mostly creating because you love it, but over time you realize you also have to learn branding, marketing, editing, networking, scheduling, analytics, and how to consistently show up online even when growth feels slow.
Another challenge has been figuring out how to stand out in such a saturated space while still staying authentic to myself. Trends move incredibly fast online, and it can be easy to feel pressure to constantly chase numbers or create content that doesn’t really reflect who you are creatively. Over time, I’ve learned that the strongest communities are built through authenticity and consistency rather than trying to force viral moments.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a multimedia content creator who focuses primarily on gaming, livestreaming, cosplay, digital art, and community-driven content. A lot of what I create is rooted in storytelling and creating experiences that feel immersive, interactive, and authentic. Whether I’m live on stream, creating short-form videos, designing cosplay, or sharing artwork, my goal is always to make content that feels personal and engaging.
I’d say I specialize most in community engagement and personality-driven content. I’ve spent years learning how to build spaces where people feel genuinely welcomed and involved rather than just talked at. Streaming especially helped me develop that skill because it requires you to adapt in real time, entertain, communicate clearly, and create an environment.
What I’m probably most proud of is the community I’ve built over the years. Seeing people connect through my streams, art, cosplay, and content and knowing I’ve created a space where people feel comfortable being creative and themselves means a lot to me. I’m also proud that I’ve been able to grow while staying authentic to who I am creatively instead of trying to completely reinvent myself for trends.
I think what sets me apart is the combination of creativity, adaptability, and genuine community focus. I have experience not only creating through cosplay and art, but also performing live, hosting panels, collaborating with others, and building communities. I’m very comfortable both behind the scenes creatively and directly interacting with audiences.
Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
One of the biggest pieces of advice I’d give to artists starting out is to focus less on perfection and more on consistency and growth. It’s really easy to compare your work to artists who have been creating for years, but every artist develops their style and skills over time through practice, experimentation, and simply making a lot of work. I’ve even struggled with this too.
I also think it’s important to create things that genuinely excite you instead of only creating what you think will perform well online. Trends change constantly, but the work that tends to resonate most is the work that feels personal and authentic. People connect with passion and personality just as much as skill.
Most importantly, don’t let fear of being “not good enough” stop you from creating or sharing your work. We all start somewhere.
