Check Out Clarence Gates’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Clarence Gates.

Clarence, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I’m a content creator and actor while I’m doing my skit content I go by the persona “Sonik”.i got interested in acting at age 13 I got into plays in middle school and high school. I had a thing for entertaining ppl. After school I attempted to get into acting it was hard trusting agencies when they be asking for money upfront. And it was also hard getting help when you have unsupportive people in your corner.. time and time again I had agencies try to scam I felt it wasn’t meant for me and stop attempting to pursue acting. And started creating content hoping to get discovered from making AMVs to making skits I started building relationships with other creators artist and actors. Building those relationships I was able to get the opportunity to get interested back in the acting

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road was far from smooth especially when ppl don’t support you but want you to support them and give more than what others are giving and putting your stuff to the side to help others and not getting the same energy back

I am a content creator and actor I did a few web series one called Atlanta’s ugly and a few movies Bamagirl pinkx and love me not. I’m proud of myself that I was able to get back to doing what I loved and was presented with the opportunity. I appreciate the littlest things anyone has ever done for I’m always grateful for anything

What was your favorite childhood memory?
Having military parents and Being able to travel the world at a young age
