I didn’t plan on becoming a travel advisor; it happened after my honeymoon became both a comedic mishap and a cautionary tale.
Our room was old and outdated, nothing like the photos. There wasn’t even a restaurant nearby.
We were stuck with condo-style rooms, complete with kitchens. Cooking on my honeymoon? Not in my honeymoon plans.
How did we end up there?
We were so focused on wedding planning that honeymoon arrangements fell to the last minute. Our budget was tight, and choices were limited. I thought I did my research, but those glossy magazine photos convinced me the resort was paradise. In reality, it was a complete bait-and-switch.
Amid the chaos, I had a revelation. This experience could have been different with someone who really listened and cared about the important details. That moment inspired the creation of White Sand Traveler.
Nearly 20 years later, I craft seamless, heartfelt travel experiences that blend luxury, genuine connection, and true peace of mind.
Whether it’s a destination wedding, a honeymoon, or an escape from the ordinary, my aim is simple: ensure you never worry about the “what ifs.” Just arrive, relax, and live your love story.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It would be wonderful to say that the journey has been entirely smooth, but this is real life, after all, haha.
Over the past decade, we adapted to the abrupt halt in travel caused by COVID-19. During that downtime, I took the chance to pivot and enhance our workflows, processes, and messaging. As travel resumed, we were well-equipped to handle the surge in bookings.
However, in 2025 and 2026, we have seen a significant decline in travel.
Many individuals are feeling uneasy; some have lost their jobs, while others are reluctant to invest in what might be seen as a luxury in the current economic landscape.
Once again, I continue adapting creatively while maintaining the high-touch experience our clients expect.
