My name is Vasyl Popov, and I started my professional journey with a strong interest in business development, marketing, and reputation building. Over the years, I became involved in helping businesses strengthen their public image, customer trust, and professional positioning in increasingly competitive markets.
Today, I serve as the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Quality Mark Business Excellence Award USA, a professional recognition initiative focused on highlighting excellence, leadership, quality, innovation, and business credibility across multiple industries.
My work combines marketing, public relations, strategic branding, reputation management, and business recognition programs. I have worked with entrepreneurs, service providers, startups, and growing companies, helping them increase visibility, strengthen credibility, and build stronger connections with their audiences across the United States and internationally.
In addition to my work in business recognition, I am also developing Quality Mark AI, an AI-driven business platform designed to help small and medium-sized businesses automate marketing, sales, HR, finance, customer support, and operational processes while strengthening business trust through independent verification standards and AI-powered infrastructure.
A major part of my professional mission is building modern ecosystems that connect business excellence, artificial intelligence, professional recognition, and long-term reputation strategy on both a national and international level.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Building professional recognition platforms and business initiatives has definitely not been a smooth road. One of the biggest challenges was establishing credibility and trust in highly competitive industries where many people are naturally skeptical of recognition programs and new business concepts.
Another challenge was balancing innovation with long-term reputation. In today’s fast-moving digital environment, many businesses focus only on short-term marketing results, while I have always believed in building systems based on credibility, professional standards, and long-term trust.
Developing projects connected to AI and business automation has also come with challenges. Technology evolves very quickly, and staying ahead requires continuous learning, adaptation, and strategic thinking.
As an entrepreneur, I have also experienced the normal pressures that come with building and scaling projects, including managing growth, overcoming uncertainty, and maintaining consistency during difficult periods.
However, I believe challenges are a necessary part of growth. Every obstacle helped me better understand business, leadership, and the importance of resilience, adaptability, and long-term vision.

Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned throughout my journey is that meaningful networking is not about collecting contacts — it’s about building genuine, long-term relationships based on trust, professionalism, and mutual respect.
I believe mentorship can come in many different forms. Sometimes a mentor is a direct advisor who helps guide your decisions, and sometimes it is someone you learn from simply by observing their discipline, leadership, mindset, or ability to overcome challenges. Some of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned came through conversations, collaborations, and relationships developed over time.
For me, the strongest professional connections have always been built through consistency, credibility, and creating real value for others rather than focusing only on immediate opportunities or transactions. In today’s world, people remember authenticity, reliability, and the way you make them feel long after the first conversation.
I also believe continuous learning and curiosity are essential for growth. I’ve gained valuable insights from entrepreneurs, marketers, technology professionals, business leaders, and innovators across many different industries. Being open to new perspectives has helped me better understand both people and business.
One thing that has worked especially well for me is maintaining long-term relationships and staying connected with people even when there is no immediate business benefit. Over time, those relationships often become opportunities, partnerships, collaborations, and friendships that can positively shape both your career and your life.
My advice to younger professionals and entrepreneurs would be to focus on building credibility before chasing recognition, to stay patient during difficult periods, and to surround themselves with people who challenge them to grow. In the long run, reputation, trust, and relationships become some of the most valuable assets a person can build — both professionally and personally.
