Today we’d like to introduce you to Raiyah Hauser.
Hi Raiyah, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My journey into floral design didn’t start in a traditional way—it grew out of a love for creating beauty and meaningful experiences. I’ve always been drawn to aesthetics, details, and the feeling that something thoughtfully designed can evoke. What began as a creative outlet slowly evolved into something much bigger as I realized how impactful florals can be in bringing moments to life.
In the early stages, I spent a lot of time experimenting—learning what worked, refining my style, and understanding how to translate emotion into design. I was especially inspired by the idea that flowers aren’t just decorative, they tell a story. That perspective really shaped the direction of my work.
As demand started to grow, I turned that passion into a business, building what is now Haus of Flowers. From intimate arrangements to larger-scale bloom bars and events, I’ve focused on creating experiences that feel elevated, intentional, and personal. Every step of the process has been about growth—both creatively and as an entrepreneur.
Where I am today is the result of consistency, trusting my vision, and continuously evolving my craft. I’m still inspired every day, and I see this as just the beginning of what I want to build.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It’s been a smooth journey so far, seeing the excitement my customers feel when they receive their arrangements makes it all worth it. The celebration of someone’s birthday, accomplishments, and feeling of being loved by those that have gifted allows me the ability to express gratitude and share joy.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?

Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
I’m really inspired by resources that focus on both creativity and personal growth. For day-to-day organization and staying on top of my business, I rely on apps like Instagram for visual inspiration and connection, and Pinterest to explore new ideas, color palettes, and design concepts.
In terms of mindset and growth, I’m drawn to books like Atomic Habits by James Clear, which really emphasizes consistency and small daily improvements—something that applies so much to both creative work and building a business. I also enjoy podcasts like The Skinny Confidential Him & Her Podcast, which offer a mix of business, wellness, and lifestyle insights that keep me motivated and thinking bigger.
More than anything, I find inspiration in real-life experiences—travel, design, architecture, and even everyday moments. I’m always observing textures, colors, and how things make people feel, and that naturally translates into my work. Staying curious and open to inspiration from different places is what helps me continue evolving creatively and personally.
