Elena, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My journey started back in 2022 when I realized people genuinely enjoyed following along with my life and personality. I was always sharing funny moments, random adventures, and cool places I discovered, and over time I built some amazing connections with my followers.
Once I found the confidence to put myself out there, I dove into content creation-and it quickly became something incredibly rewarding. It hasn’t always been smooth sailing; there have definitely been plenty of bumps along the way. But those challenges led to opportunities I never expected, allowing me to connect with incredible people and work with amazing businesses.
One of the things I’m most passionate about is showcasing local businesses throughout Atlanta, especially the small businesses and hidden gems on the Southside. Being from the Southside of Atlanta, it means a lot to me to shine a spotlight on the people, places, and entrepreneurs that make my community so special. I take pride in helping others discover businesses they may have otherwise overlooked and supporting the communities that helped shape who I am today.

The most rewarding part of this journey, though, has been being able to bring my family along for the ride. From exciting adventures to unforgettable experiences, creating memories together has made every step of the journey worth it—and I can’t wait to see what’s next! *t

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
As social media continues to evolve, so do the challenges—and the opportunities. What once felt simple has become a constantly changing landscape, with new features, algorithms, and platforms reshaping the way creators connect with their audiences. From the rise of TikTok Shop to Meta expanding its influence across social media, staying relevant often feels like hitting a moving target.

As an independent creator without a dedicated social media management team, keeping up with these changes can sometimes be overwhelming. Add in the growing number of scams, fake accounts, and misleading partnerships, and it can definitely feel discouraging at times. But despite the obstacles, every challenge has taught me something new and pushed me to adapt, grow, and find creative ways to continue building authentic connections with my audience. Those connections are what keep me motivated and excited for what’s ahead. ✨

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I built my social media journey around one simple rule: if I don’t genuinely love it, I won’t share it. That mindset has been both a blessing and a challenge. While it may be easier to promote anything for views, followers, or a paycheck, I’ve always chosen authenticity over trends. In a world where social media can sometimes feel filtered and inauthentic, maintaining that integrity is something I’m incredibly proud of.

My content is rooted in lifestyle and the things that truly bring value to my everyday life. Whether it’s a hidden gem restaurant, an unforgettable travel destination, a product that actually works, or a fun family adventure, I love sharing experiences and recommendations I would give to my closest friends. My goal is to inspire, connect, and help others discover places, products, and experiences that make life a little more enjoyable. At the end of the day, my audience knows that if I’m sharing it, it’s because I genuinely believe in it—and that trust is the foundation of everything I create.

Any big plans?
Right now, I’m navigating a season of growth and learning as I work through some of the challenges that come with being a creator. Like many people in this space, I’ve faced moments of discouragement, but each obstacle has helped me gain a better understanding of who I am and the kind of creator I want to be.

One of my biggest goals is to become more consistent with my content while still staying true to myself. I love living in the moment and fully experiencing life, which can sometimes make it difficult to balance creating content with simply being present. I’ve also learned the importance of stepping away when needed and taking breaks to prioritize my mental health, because showing up authentically starts with taking care of myself first.

Looking ahead, my vision is bigger than just growing a platform. I want to build a genuine community—one built on trust, authenticity, and shared experiences. I hope people continue to follow not just my content, but my journey through life, knowing that what I share comes from a real place. My goal is to create a space where my audience feels connected, inspired, and excited to grow alongside me for years to come.
