Hi Carolina, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Over the years, I noticed that while so much attention is given to skincare and haircare, scalp health is often overlooked. That inspired me to create Gaia Head Spa in Alpharetta, a space focused on both relaxation and results.

What began as a small idea has grown into a thriving business that combines advanced scalp analysis, customized treatments, and education to help clients achieve healthier hair and skin. Today, Gaia is known for delivering a luxury experience while staying focused on real results.

As a business owner, wife, and mother, I am passionate about building a company that not only serves clients but also creates opportunities for a talented team to grow. My goal is to continue expanding Gaia while helping more people understand the importance of scalp health and self care.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Definitely not. Building Gaia has come with plenty of challenges. One of the biggest was introducing a concept that many people had never heard of before. When we opened, most people understood skincare, but very few understood the importance of scalp health. A big part of our journey has been educating clients on how the scalp is the foundation of healthy hair.

Like many business owners, I’ve also faced challenges with hiring, training, marketing, and managing growth while maintaining a consistent client experience. Balancing entrepreneurship with family life has been another learning experience, especially as a wife and mother.
