Check Out Maxemilian White’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Maxemilian White.

Hi Maxemilian, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My story is simple—I am still in the process of writing it.
To say that I have a story makes it sound as though I have accomplished all of my goals and fully pursued every accolade. In today’s world, where it often feels like you’re supposed to have everything figured out, I have not only accepted that I don’t, but I have become comfortable with that fact.
I am comfortable with the grind and the continuous journey that lies ahead.
Now, with that being said, I have been blessed with enormous opportunities.

To be where I am today and look back on the times when I felt confused and lost about my journey is truly surreal.
In high school, when people would ask me what I wanted to do with my life, I would often give them a generic answer and say that I wanted to be a model or a famous actor. The truth is, I said those things mostly so people would stop asking.
I started modeling in high school to build confidence in myself. After school, I would attend modeling events, and it became what I was known for at my school. Which then became not only something I enjoyed but also another way for people to stop constantly pestering me with their questions and opinions on my career path.
Going into my first year of college, I felt isolated and alone because it was my first time being on my own. I constantly asked myself, “What am I doing?”
When I looked at my peers, they seemed so determined and confident in their goals compared to me, and I felt as though I was being left behind. Over time, I learned that everyone is on their own path of discovery. They are just as scared as I am, trying to figure out this thing called life.
The path has not always been clear, but it has brought me to incredible places. I have had the opportunity to model for Vogue twice, walk in New York Fashion Week, and participate in photoshoots for the brand Wisdom.
I am also grateful to have started two personal brands that I am actively building: my film production company, FreeMan Production, and my clothing brand, HERO.
My story is far from over, and there is much more to come from Maxemilian White.
If I could go back and speak to my younger self—the version of me who was scared about the future—I would tell him not to stress so much. The path may seem dark or foggy, but if you keep moving forward, you will eventually find your way through the darkness and into the light. As my dad always tells me, I can. do anything through God who strengthens me.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road I am on is a bumpy one, full of potholes and unexpected obstacles, but there is no other path I would rather take. I am still finding my way, but I am making it work. For a long time, I would get discouraged by my own ideas because there was always a small voice in the back of my mind filled with doubt. I constantly questioned my abilities and the skills I possessed. However, I have learned that sometimes I need to quiet that voice and simply take action. I would rather try something and fail, knowing that I gave it my all, than let fear hold me back and spend my life wondering, “What if?”

Another challenge I have faced is surrounding myself with people who genuinely want to see me succeed. At times, I found myself around individuals who would rather tear me down than lift me. Finding people who believe in your vision and encourage your growth is an incredible feeling. The right support system can make all the difference. I am still young, and I continue to face obstacles every day. Time management and consistency remain challenges, but I approach each day with grace and remind myself that I am only one person doing the best I can. My journey is far from perfect, but every setback, every lesson, and every obstacle has helped shape the person I am becoming.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Today, I primarily work in the film industry. I am currently a student at SCAD, where I specialize in directing and creating my own films. In addition to directing, I work in videography, shooting content for clients, and I have experience in grip and lighting work on film sets. Outside of school, I also work with my uncle on his podcast, where I assist with productions featuring guests such as Stephen A. Smith and other notable figures. Alongside my film work, I have built a career in modeling. I have had the opportunity to model for Vogue twice and walk in New York Fashion Week, experiences that have allowed me to work alongside incredibly talented and creative individuals. What sets me apart from others is my ability to communicate and connect with people. While that may seem like a simple skill, I believe it is becoming increasingly rare in today’s world. I can walk into a room, start a conversation with anyone, and make people feel seen, heard, and valued. Building genuine relationships and creating a positive environment is something I take great pride in.

One of the accomplishments I am most proud of is walking for Vogue. Being able to collaborate with talented creatives and bring concepts to life has been an amazing experience, and I recognize how fortunate I am to have had those opportunities. I am also incredibly proud of the work I have put into developing my own creative identity. Building my film brand, creating short films, and sharing those projects with my friends and family has been one of the most rewarding parts of my journey. Each project represents an idea that started in my imagination and became something real. More than anything, I am proud that I chose to believe in myself. I committed to my goals, put in the work, and continued moving forward even when the path was uncertain. That willingness to take a chance on myself has shaped the person and creative professional I am today.

What were you like growing up?
Growing up, I was considered the “weird kid.” I loved fashion and film—those were the two things that always captured my attention. I never enjoyed sports. I remember my dad encouraging me to join the basketball team, but it just wasn’t my passion. All I wanted to do was watch anime, play video games, and act out imaginary scenes where I was a superhero in a blockbuster film. When I was younger, doctors discovered that I learned differently from other children because of a learning disability. As a result, I was held back a grade and transferred to another school. When other kids found out that I had been held back, they teased and bullied me to make themselves feel better.

Looking back, the bullying wasn’t the worst thing that could have happened to me. In some ways, I’m grateful for those experiences because they helped shape who I am today. However, at the time, it was one of the darkest periods of my life. I felt worthless, and I often found myself wondering, “What’s the point of this constant cycle if everything is going to stay the same?”Over time, I realized that I had to learn how to stand up for myself because if I didn’t, who would?

I worked hard to improve my social skills and developed thicker skin when it came to what others had to say about me. I learned that, at the end of the day, their words only have power if I allow them to. Those experiences taught me resilience, self-confidence, and the importance of embracing who I am. The things that once made me feel different are now the very things that make me unique.
