Daily Inspiration: Meet Young Maynee

Today we’d like to introduce you to Young Maynee.

Hi Young, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I grew up loving rap music so I naturally started trying to rhyme in kindergarten I must have been around 5, I remember I wanted to be like Tupac so bad! Lol
Of course none of my rhymes made sense but I had an idea. Fast forward my older brother made a song and I remember I was around 11 or 12 and my mind was blown and I couldn’t wait to try to get on a song. That’s pretty much what inspired me to start rapping. I recorded my first song when I was around 13 and I haven’t stopped since. I love music

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I would lie if I said it’s been a smooth road. Of course everyone goes through things but no matter what we gotta keep pushing as long as god allows us on this earth.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I rap, i record all my own music I also make beats. I mix and master all my songs as well. I shoot all of my own videos I edit them and I am a graphic designer. I can do more things but those are my main passions. I’m most proud of my most recent Album “Dat Migo 3” which is streaming every where on your favorite music platform. I believe what sets me apart from others is that I am authentic I have my own sound. I don’t want to sound like anyone else. I also have substance I don’t rap about what 95% of “rap artists “ talk about now days.
