Life & Work with Savii Callender of Atlanta

Today we’d like to introduce you to Savii Callender.

Hi Savii, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My story is still unfolding, right now I’m focused, improving my discipline, and refining my mind, body, and spirit through hard work.

Over the years I’ve been learning how to turn both good and bad experiences into something meaningful. It’s not up to me who gets inspired but that’s one of the many challenges that comes with ambition. I just need to believe in myself, show up and put the effort in ya know.

Over the years, I realized, It’s how you carry yourself, how you respond to pressure, how you care for your health, how you treat people, and how consistently you continue building even when nobody is watching.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Some days were painfully uncomfortable. Over time I realized struggle isn’t just pain, it’s also responsibility, discipline, learning yourself, and figuring out how to stay aligned when life gets heavy.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Right now I’m refining my original art while creating anime inspired art to keep the creativity flowing. I use original art to answer questions about life, and the anime art is mostly for fun. Right now I’m most proud of this latest gallery concept I did called “SDA Connections”. I feel the way I tell stories sets me apart from other artists.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
I was young full of energy and direction doing anything I could put my mind too. Calm, Cool, Collected. I’m still this way,
