Conversations with Brianna Frost

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brianna Frost.

Hi Brianna, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My journey began when I was a little girl watching Beyoncé perform. Something about seeing her on stage ignited a spark in me that never faded away. From a young age, I felt a deep calling toward creativity and knew that dance, performance, music, and fashion would always be a part of my life.

I began pursuing that dream through auditions and eventually signed with a talent agency called Model Productions. I still remember auditioning with my own choreography to Lil Mama’s “Lip Gloss.” Being signed felt like my first glimpse of what was possible. Although I began receiving major casting opportunities like working with Tyler Perry, the timing wasn’t right. My family was balancing significant responsibilities, including caring for my younger brother with special needs, and continuing that path just wasn’t feasible at the time.

A few years later, I found another opportunity through Barbizon Modeling and Acting School, where I trained in modeling and acting to further develop my skills. While financial limitations eventually made it difficult to continue, my passion never left me. Throughout high school and college, I remained heavily involved in dance, performing and choreographing while continuing to nurture my creative ambitions.

Attending Georgia State University became a major turning point in my journey. During that time, I met one of my closest friends, gospel artist Nashbi Grand-Jean, who believed in my potential before I fully believed in it myself. Through his encouragement, I stepped outside of my comfort zone and contributed vocals to his music; a single called “Secret Lover” and participating in that project helped me grow as an artist.

Around the same time, I was introduced to another casting agency called Central Casting, which opened the doors to my first television opportunities. I appeared on productions such as STAR, Dynasty, Queens, She-Hulk, Tell Me Lies, Will Trent, and Celebrity Prank Wars. Being featured on major productions and even appearing in Marvel promotional trailers gave me valuable experience and reinforced my commitment to the entertainment industry.

Like many creative journeys, mine has not been linear. There was a season where my focus shifted from pursuing opportunities to prioritizing personal growth and healing. Looking back, that chapter was just as important as any booking or accomplishment because it helped me reconnect with who I am beyond my career.

Today, I continue to pursue acting, modeling, and dance while building toward an even bigger vision. My goal is to create cinematic dance films and music videos that blend storytelling, choreography, fashion, and visual production into immersive experiences. Every step of my journey has led me here, and I’m excited for what’s to come next.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
My journey has been anything but a smooth road. Along the way, I’ve faced a variety of personal and professional challenges, from helping raise my younger brother with special needs and navigating family responsibilities to graduating college during the pandemic and overcoming difficult life experiences that tested my resilience.

One of the most transformative chapters of my life came during a period when I stepped away from creativity altogether. Unhealthy relationships, personal hardships, and mental and emotional struggles left me disconnected from myself and from the passions that once brought me joy. During that season, survival and healing became my priority. I had to confront parts of myself that I had ignored for years and do the difficult work of rebuilding from the inside out.

Looking back, that chapter was not a setback, it was a turning point for me. It taught me resilience, self-awareness, and the importance of honoring my own voice. Through that process, I rediscovered who I was beyond external validation and reconnected with my purpose as an artist. Returning to creativity became more than just pursuing a dream: it became a way of reclaiming my power.

Today, I carry those lessons into everything I create. The challenges that I’ve faced have shaped not only the artist I am but also the woman that I am becoming. I’m grateful to God for where I am today and for the strength, perspective, and authenticity those lessons have given me.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m a multidisciplinary creative artist whose work spans acting, modeling, dance, styling, and design. While many people know me for my acting work and television appearances, creativity has never existed in just one lane for me. I’m passionate about bringing stories to life through movement, fashion, visual aesthetics, and performance.

As I continue to evolve as an artist, I’m especially focused on creating cinematic dance films and music videos that blend storytelling, choreography, cinematography, and production into one immersive experience. My goal is to create work that not only entertains but also makes people feel something deeply.

What I’m most proud of is my perseverance. Building a creative career often requires believing in a vision long before anyone else can see it. There have been moments when the path felt uncertain, when support was limited, and when I had to keep moving forward despite being underestimated. Through it all, I’ve continued to bet on myself, grow my craft, and stay committed to my purpose. Every opportunity I’ve earned represents not just talent, but resilience.

I think what sets me apart is my ability to transform being underestimated into motivation. I’ve often found myself in the position of the underdog, pursuing ambitious goals without the level of support or validation that many people wait for before taking action.

That experience has taught me how to trust my vision even when others don’t fully understand it yet. I’ve learned that people often believe in a dream once they can see the results, but true faith is continuing to build before the evidence exists. That mindset, combined with my ability to merge multiple creative disciplines into a single artistic vision, allows me to create work that is uniquely my own. I’ve learned that vision is seeing something before it exists and having the courage to create it anyway.

So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
I’m always open to collaborating with other creatives who are passionate about bringing meaningful ideas to life. Whether it’s acting, modeling, dance, styling, creative direction, content creation, film, or visual storytelling, I enjoy working with people who share a vision and are excited to create something impactful together.

As I continue building toward my long-term goals, I’m especially interested in connecting with dancers, filmmakers, videographers, photographers, creative directors, stylists, writers, musicians, and other artists who value collaboration and innovation. Many of the projects I envision require a strong creative team, and I believe some of the most powerful work is created when talented people come together with a shared purpose.

For those interested in collaborating, partnering, sponsoring projects, or supporting my creative journey, I welcome opportunities to connect via email or social media. My goal is to not only create work that entertains but also to create experiences that inspire, tell meaningful stories, and leave a lasting impact.
