Community Highlights: Meet Keanu Davis of UNTITLD Entertainment

Today we’d like to introduce you to Keanu Davis.

Hi Keanu, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Keanu Davis is the Founder & Chief Executive Officer of UNTITLD Entertainment. Born and raised in Newark, New Jersey, his passion for music was cultivated from an early age by a family deeply rooted in the industry. Influenced by his grandmother’s love for jazz and his father and uncles’ experience as DJs, he developed an appreciation for both the creative and technical sides of music. His early exposure to recording studios, mixers, turntables, and audio engineering sparked a lifelong passion that continued throughout high school, where he studied multiple instruments, performed at NJPAC, and gained hands-on experience in music production, engineering, and live event coordination using a state-of-the-art recording studio.
After graduation, Davis explored several career paths before returning to music, where he began mentoring young talent alongside former teachers at his alma mater. That experience led to managing his first artist and solidified his commitment to artist development and the music business. Today, he leads UNTITLD Entertainment with a vision of creating a modern, artist-first company built on transparency, creative freedom, and long-term career growth, combining his background in performance, production, engineering, and management to help the next generation of artists succeed.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s never a smooth road i started my first indie label by myself a few years back. That taught me so much of what not to do what I learned a lot. I’m still learning my second go around but it’s still not easy. It’s just about making better decisions. Building a proper foundation and team. And knowing the you have to continue to learn and grow because this industry changes daily.

We’ve been impressed with UNTITLD Entertainment , but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
UNTITLD Entertainment is a culturally diverse record label built for artists and creatives who are committed to growth, longevity, and evolution. We operate with intention fully in tune with the artist and every layer of the creative process.

We’re not chasing the “next big thing.” We invest in talent with the vision, discipline, and potential to become the next big thing. At the core of UNTITLD is a renewed focus on artist
development the stage the industry has largely abandoned. We prioritize hands-on, one-on-one collaboration, helping artists identify their strengths, refine their weaknesses, and sharpen their identity.

Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
Definitely find a mentor I wish I had one. I feel like a lot of the mistakes I’ve made wouldn’t have happened. Aswell as I may have been much farther asking in my journey and career than what I am now but that’s ok. Networking is very important, you can’t do this alone. Talk to people put yourself out there to grow or else you’ll stay in the same spot forever waiting for something to happen. Networking worked well for me and still does it’s put some amazing people in my life and in my corner. People think networking is just being social and though that is true. There’s so much more value to it. It’s what builds you and introduces you to things and people you didn’t know of before. It bills character it build strength and courage.
