Hi OPUL, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My story started with magic.

Before OPUL, I built my path as a professional magician and illusionist, performing for private events, corporate conventions, and international audiences. Over time, I realized that I didn’t want to present magic only in a traditional way. I was always attracted to music, technology, lights, visuals, and the feeling of creating an atmosphere that people could truly step into.

That curiosity slowly became the foundation of OPUL.

OPUL was born from the desire to combine illusion, electronic music, and a futuristic visual world into one immersive experience. I wanted to create something that felt mysterious, powerful, and different, a show where magic is not just a trick, but part of a larger universe made of sound, light, technology, and emotion.

The journey has been a constant evolution. I started experimenting with stage illusions, screens, lasers, video content, and electronic music, trying to find the right balance between the human side of performance and the technological side of the show. That concept, the connection between human and machine, reality and the virtual world, became a big part of OPUL’s identity.

Today, OPUL is both a music project and a live performance concept. I’m releasing original electronic tracks, building a stronger visual identity, and continuing to develop a stage experience that blends magic, music, and technology in a way that feels fresh and memorable.

Getting here took time, experimentation, and a lot of persistence. But I think the most important part of the journey has been staying true to the idea that creativity should surprise people. My goal has always been to create moments that feel unexpected, something the audience doesn’t just watch, but remembers

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Not at all. Like any creative project that tries to do something different, OPUL has faced many challenges.

One of the biggest struggles has been building something that doesn’t fit into a single category. OPUL is not just electronic music, and it’s not just magic. It’s a fusion of both, combined with technology, visuals, and storytelling. While that makes the project unique, it also means people sometimes need time to fully understand the concept.

Another challenge has been the amount of work involved behind the scenes. Every performance, every visual, every music release, and every illusion requires countless hours of planning, testing, and refinement. Creating an immersive experience means paying attention to every detail, and that takes patience and persistence.

There have also been moments of uncertainty, when experiments didn’t work as expected or when progress felt slower than I had hoped. But I’ve learned that those moments are part of the creative process. Every obstacle has pushed me to improve the project, think differently, and stay focused on the long-term vision.

Looking back, I don’t see those challenges as setbacks. They’ve helped shape OPUL into what it is today, and they continue to inspire me to keep evolving and creating experiences that surprise people.

OPUL is more than a music project and more than a magic show. It’s a concept where original electronic music, large-scale illusions, lasers, LED screens, visual effects, and storytelling come together to create something audiences don’t expect.

My background as a professional illusionist has given me a unique perspective on live entertainment. Instead of treating magic as a separate act, I integrate it into the music itself, making every performance feel like stepping into another reality. The contrast between human creativity and technology, the space between the real and the virtual, is at the heart of everything I create.

I’m especially proud of building OPUL from a simple idea into a recognizable artistic identity. Every track, visual, and illusion is designed to support the same vision, creating an experience rather than just a performance.

I think what sets me apart is that I don’t see music, magic, and technology as separate disciplines. They are all tools for telling the same story. My goal has never been to impress people with a single illusion or a single song, but to leave them feeling that they experienced something they had never seen before.

Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
One of my favorite childhood memories was seeing a magic performance that left me completely speechless. I remember trying to figure out how the impossible could look so real, and that sense of wonder stayed with me long after the show ended. Looking back, I think that moment sparked my curiosity, not just about magic itself, but about creating experiences that make people stop, smile, and question what’s possible. It’s a feeling I’ve been chasing ever since, and today it’s at the heart of everything I create with OPUL.
