Community Highlights: Meet Rachel Dinkins of La Clique Room

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rachel Dinkins.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
La Clique Room began as a journey to gather like-minded women who love luxury in the city. What started in the group chat became our first girls’ cabin trip. After I posted photos of the beautiful luxury cabin I found, my DMs filled with women asking for an invite.
Hosting is how I express myself—I love making every guest feel important. I brought on longtime friend Tanisha Johnson for her eye for style and creative direction, and the rest is history. She curates our themed wardrobe moments and runs operations, nailing down every logistical detail.
With ambassadors, assistants, influencers, and our head photographer Jenn, we are grateful to build La Clique Room alongside a team of powerhouse women.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The journey hasn’t been easy. There are countless social clubs, and I even joined one that didn’t quite check all my boxes.
Tanisha Johnson, my Creative Director & Director of Operations, and I knew from day one that La Clique Room couldn’t be put in a box. Not just sports. Not just entertainment. Every experience is tailored.
We understand the hesitation with new businesses! You want to know your investment is worth it. At La Clique Room, value is in the details.

We’ve been impressed with La Clique Room, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I’ve been selling my whole career. Luxury retail taught me how to tailor an experience down to the smallest detail so a client feels seen. Plenty of brands can coast on their name. La Clique Room can’t and won’t.
What makes us different is simple: we listen, and we execute on the details. Our goal is for every woman to walk away feeling elevated. At our recent wellness experience, a few ladies pulled us aside to say we’d blown their expectations out of the water. That’s the moment we live for.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
I’ve loved fashion since I was a little girl. I’d live in my mother’s closet, styling outfits in her heels in front of the mirror. I collected Barbies and I still have them in the box! I trained as a ballerina. I fell in love with being on stage, with grace, presentation, and performance.
That love for beauty and self-expression never left me, and it’s at the heart of La Clique Room. I always knew I wanted to uplift women and work in fashion, and La Clique Room lets me do both: we curate experiences where every woman feels styled, graceful, and like she’s stepping into her own spotlight.
