Today we’d like to introduce you to Miles Triplett.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I started video production by accident. I made a parody video called “Sweater Vest Swag” in 2010 as a joke. From that video, I found my love for filmmaking. So I started making music videos. Eventually, I branched out into short films, and not long after, feature films.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It hasn’t been a smooth road, but It’s definitely been a progressive growth every year. The biggest struggle for filmmakers is always the money aspect. Also, finding people who believe in your vision enough to stick around and help out. I think I’ve been thru so many team members I’ve lost count.
We’d love to hear more about your business.
SVS Productions specializes in making content that is actually watchable and enjoyable.
We have not always had the best quality, but our content has always been above others. I take pride in knowing that people actually want to watch our productions over and over and talk about them to their friends. That’s also what sets us apart from others.
What were you like growing up?
Growing up I loved to entertain people, but I never thought I would be taking it seriously as a career. I was definitely the goofy person in school, but I was also the smart person who everybody would cheat off of. I LOVE the game of basketball and still try to play whenever I can today.
